| IBSig quickly went to work and within the first year the chapter had grown to eleven members. The chapter has participated in numerous events and national programs, including the Mwanimugimu Essay Contest, San Francisco AIDS walk and Recognition "22". The chapter also hosted its First Annual Founder's Day Brunch and used the 2002 Founder's Day Brunch to kick off its new Greater Service, Greater Progress Scholarship program. In 2003 IBSig did what we ourselves thought might be impossible: hosting the Western Region Conference in San Jose, CA. IBSig continues to strive for excellence, with inspired membership, growing undergrad membership and Rhoer Club. Please look for more new and wonderful things to come in the near future from this young dynamic chapter! |
