OFFICIAL RULES

1. Every person entering a fish must show a ticket.

2. Every person in the boat must have a ticket, fishing or not, and a valid fishing license.

3. All rodeo winners will be determined by the largest fish in each category according to weight.  In case of a tie, the first fish registered will be the winner.

4. All fish must be kept fresh.  No spoiled or rotten fish will be accepted.  Any fish showing signs of unsportsmanlike handling will not be accepted.

5. All fish must be caught on hook and line.  the only holes allowed are hook and gaff.

6. All fish registered will become property of the rodeo and will be cut.

7. All fish must be caught during rodeo hours and days.

8. Decisions of the judges will be final.

9. All fish must be weighed and registered at the official weigh station in Bayou La Batre located at the State Docks.

10. All fish must comply with State Conservation requirements.
