Spiritual Multiplication
Scripture Reading: John 4:28-30,39-42.

Memory Verse: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8).

INTRODUCTION: Be sure to share your new life with others. This may bring reactions but God will give you wisdom and understanding in how to share with people. Remember, they need Jesus badly. Pray for them and realize that God is working even when the evidence seems to indicate the opposite.
It may seem like a daunting task--that of witnessing to the world--but you are part of a mighty army of believers witnessing around the world, and He wants you to have the joy of winning someone to Him, also.
The Great Commission of the Church, found in Matthew 28:18-20, reminds us that the church wasn't sent to get people saved, but included teaching them to observe all the things Jesus commanded. We are to make disciples who follow the Lord, and salvation is just the first step of that process. Part of the discipling we are to do, is to train others how to share their faith, to not be ashamed to be witnesses for Christ.
As we bring people to Christ, we are also bringing more "soul winners" into Christ's body, who are to be trained to go and bring more people to Christ. But we are also to teach those soul winners how to disciple others, so they can also turn new converts into soul winners. We end up with a spiritual multiplication process that rolls on and on.
Far too long, the work of evangelism has been viewed by some to be the work of a select few. The Bible teaches that all believers are to take part in being witnesses, sharing the gospel, and being ready to lead sinners to Christ. It is important that all of us are engaged in this mighty work!
Each person has a field of influence that is unique to them, a sphere in which they live and work every day of the week. For some, this sphere is limited to a few people that they spend lots of time with each week. For others, especially those who travel in their work, the sphere is widely dispersed over a great number of people. Regardless of your field of influence, God wants to use you right where you are! Think of your place in life as your mission field, and pray that God will use you right where you are.
