STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH - *****
The last episode of the trilogy. Anakin changes into Darth Vador. Lots and lots of action. Special effects are completely awesome. The background has so many things going on, you may have to watch the movie a second time just to see everything. The best out of the new trilogy. Also the comedy is back in the movie.

LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING - *****
Story goes from where it last left off with Frodo trying to get the ring into Mt Doom and Gondor under attack. Visuals and special effects are wonderful. The best battle (at Pelennor Fields) seen since Saving Private Ryan. Lots of resolutions back to back. The same quality leaving the trilogy as was entering it. A awesome masterpiece.

THE LAST SAMURAI - ***
A Civil War and Indian War hero goes to Japan to train the Japanese army in modern weopons. The Last Samurai is one of those movies that is mixed up. For the first half, it seems focused very much on the traditions and beauty of Japanese culture and how it saves the soul of a soldier of the Civil War and Indian Wars. The second half abandons this principle and becomes that of an epic, where strength meets honor on the battlefield, complete with cannon balls bursting and gatling guns blazing. Also this has been done before: It was called Shogun.

TIMELINE - ***
A archaeologist is sent back to 1357 in France and his son and other students must go to bring him back. It is like "Stargate" but to the past. Pretty action packed. Fun all around but could have been better. Fails on graphics but delivers in action.

THE MISSING - *
Movies starts off with a father returning home to his daughter after not seeing her since she was a teenager. Her hired hands take the cows to auction only to be ambushed by indians and the girl kidnapped. Plot fails to deliver. The movie is very long and very boring. There is some humor but not enough to keep the movie afloat. Simply put Ron Howard cannot make westerns. I am very sad about wasting money on this movie as I expected a surprise hit and got a big dud.

ELF - ****
Buddy grows up thinking he is a elf but then finds out he is not. He then seeks to find his real dad. The movie is pretty funny and innocent. A family orientated movie. A Christmas classic.

GOTHIKA - ****
Dr Miranda Grey is headed home from a long day of work only to have her world flipped upside down the next day. The movie is twisted, chilling, and thrilling. If you like Alfred Hitchcock movies you will like this movie.

MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD - ****
Following the journey of the HMS Surprise during the Napaleonic Wars, the Surprise is suddenly attacked by the Phantom ship. Swashbuckling fun and entertaining. Goes into detail of the conditions on ships during that period in time.

LOVE ACTUALLY - ***
A movie about alot of love story's going on at once. The movie is funny and sexy but lacks consistancy. Good for the holidays with someone you love.

MATRIX REVOLUTIONS - **
What started off as with one of the best movies all time winds up with a major bomb. End of the Matrix movies and disappoints heavily. One of the worst endings in a movie in awhile. A very dull script. One of the biggest let downs since "The Phantom Menace."

KILL BILL - *****
Black Mamba is back for revenge after waking up from a coma her old boss put her in. It has alot of action, gore, blood, guts, body parts. It is funny, sad, and action packed. Also liked the sword fighting. A combination of the "Game of Death" and "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". You will also notice Black Mamba wears the same outfit Bruce Lee wore. Another classic by Tarantino.
