| When Darien tries to steal the counteragent he gets nocked out by the Keeper, a scientist who works for the government. Her job it to take care of Mr. Fawkes by giving him his shots and she is prettymuch the only living person who knows very much about the quicksilver gland, other then Arnaud. When Darien wakes up he is in a strait jacket in a padded cell. The Keeper tries to get Darien to trust her. That night The Official and Eberts "brief" him on his first mission. He has to find and bring in the Catevari, a man turned into a government experiment. Fawkes and Hobbes try to bring in the Catevari, whose real name is Charles Fogerty, but he is very violent and elusive. Then Fogerty tries to kill the Official, and nearly succedes, with his poison touch, Darien thinks quickly and and quicksilvers the Officials wounds, freezing the poison befor it can spread and kill TO. Later Darien tracks down Fogerty, alone. They sit, chat,Fogerty talks to Darien about how they are both the same, and he understands Darien. Before long Hobbes and the Official enter the room, and despite Darien's pleas, they kill the Catevari. |
