introduction

On July 4, 1947, an extraterrestrial spaceship crashed near Corona, New Mexico according to UFO legend. It is popularly
known as the Roswell Incident. Why does this case from 50 years ago still
catch our attention? Because not only it appears as an interesting mystery
waiting for us to solve, but it also suggests withholding of media information,
suppression of files, and restraining the witnesses to speak by the national
authorities. In fact, the Army Air Force (now Air Force, whose name was
changed in 1947) was particularly involved to be responsible for all these.
With advancement in technology and discovery of new information, perhaps human beings deserve the rights to know what we need to know. What already happened in New Mexico in 1947 gives us a suggestion that we are not alone and we should continue to explore the world outside of us.
