| INVESTMENT BOWLS CLUB CONSTITUTION AND RULES The Club to be called �INVESTMENT BOWLS CLUB�. The object; to give its members, friendly and healthy recreation, to introduce a competitive spirit and to promote the game of flat green bowling. The conimittee shall consist of: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Comp Secretary and Team Captains The annual general meeting shall be held no later than December of each year. For a meeting to be held, a quorum of 30% of the membership must be present. Any club member can call an extraordinary meeting and a meeting held providing a quorum is in attendance. If an extraordinary meeting is called, at least fourteen-(14) days notice is to be given in writing to the Secretary. The Secretary shall call a committee meeting as and when it is deemed necessary. If any officer or team captain should resign his/her position it will be taken over by another member of thc club, at the descretion of the committee. Any person wishing to join the Club should make a written application to the committee and their decision will be final. All new players must be committed to play in at least two of the three leagues. All members must purchase an ASHFIELD DISTRICT COUNCIL season tickct. Where possible reserves should travel with the team. The team captains shall be responsible for the selection of the teams and the notification of the players. Any new member shall not play in any league or cup match until they have been registered. Club trophies will be played for on an annual basis, with the official presentation being made at the annual dinner dance. All trophies will remain the property of �INVESTMENT BOWLS CLUB�. Amendments to this constitution can only be made at the A.G.M. |
