Suzlon Energy Ltd. was incorporated in 1995. The company is solely promoted by Tanti group. It was primarily into textile business. Later it entered into a technical tie-up with a German counterpart to source the production of wind turbine generators (WTGs) in India. Further with the growing popularity Suzlon Energy, its wholly owned subsidiary was setup to supervise the international marketing activity.

PROSPECT

The company is the leading provider of wind turbine generators in the world and is likely to enhance its order book due to increased demand of wind energy acrossthe globe. The valuations look attractive and considering industry average PER of 40, the company’s fair price stands somewhere around Rs. 600. This would be a good investment for all categories of investors.
