My name is Linda Stapleton and I am from Inverness, MS. I teach reading/language arts to grades 5 through 8. I have a Masters of Science-Elementary Education. I am married to Perry Smith Stapleton. I have 2 children, Kakeisha Roxanne Stapleton and Perry Smith Stapleton, Jr. |

Seventh and Eighth grade students vow to become excellent writers by the end of the 1999-2000 school year. We plan to assist the students to become better writers by engaging them in various writing activities. |

Students in grades 5 to 8 are focusing on higher level thinking skills. We ar edoing all that we can to insure that students become avid readers. We are working on developing the child's ability to function in a society that requires all citizens to be literate. |

Students in the upper grades will present a Black History Program later this month. |
