Phlox Electronique was founded by Yves-Bernard André to allow him the freedom to design and produce YBA - a product that embodies his vision of electronics without compromise. The manufacturing facility, owned by the company and designed by Yves-Bernard is located in a small village in the suburb of Paris. It resembles a grand piano with many windows to allow a natural daylight work environment for the comfort of the dozen + employees. Phlox has been manufacturing equipment since 1986 and currently exports to 26 countries. Exports account for approximately 85% of our sales.
Ideally, an audio product's only goal should be the faithful reproduction of music. A product should never be designed because of current trends or fashions. The product should embody the designer's vision - an unwavering commitment that stands the test of time. If an audio product is truly faithful to music, it should have a very long life cycle and there should be no reason to replace it after 12 or 18 months. We feel that this is unfair to our customers and a long-term disservice to our industry.
