Monitor Audio was established in 1972. Each elegant speaker is hand crafted in the Monitor Audio Cambridge England factory. Every stage of manufacturing is completed in house with ultimate quality control in mind. This takes a longer period, however, Monitor Audio will not settle for less.

Since the beginning, Monitor Audio has gained outstanding popularity among reviewers and audiophiles alike.

Monitor Audio controls every aspect of its design and manufacturing process. Extensive R & D facilities have resulted in the development of Monitor Audio's world famous Gold Dome Tweeter Technology and C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminum Magnesium) driver. These drivers are manufactured by Monitor Audio in its specialty drive unit manufacturing facility. Today, you will see many companies imitating the look of the Monitor Audio driver, however, this is a difficult process as the Monitor R&D team discovered over 15 years ago. Simple metals ring and present harsh distortions. Only through C-CAM technology, can the rigid metals be tamed to give a smooth, accurate response without the ring.
