In YS 2000 air combat any aircraft can be flown against any
other aircraft in air combat.

One of the unexpected results of the flying very different
aircraft fighters in this case against each other was that the WWII era
plane was able to track and destroy 4th generation fighters.

- Missiles are not able to lock on to
non-jet aircraft
- Piston engined aircraft are able to
out-turn jet aircraft
|
|
In the engagment pictured, an F8F Bearcat was able to
destroy an F-16.
