Jim is David's best friend. He seems like the average teenager, but shows strong loyalty to David and his new-found friends. He has a very good relationship with his mother, but we have no clue where his father is.
David Carter:
The hero of our story, half
alien, half human, and heir to the Tyrusian throne. Unfortunately, he's only seventeen, and the only thing in the way of Dragit invading America. David is the son of Cale Oosha and Rita Carter. He was told his father died years ago. His mom will not let him sign up for any sports or take driver's ed. He has a resentment for the sheriff Rafe for always watching everything he does. However, he soon becomes good friends with Rafe, and finds out only he can save the world from the Dragit's invasion.
Rita Carter:
Rita Carter is a single woman who was a geologist when the assination attempt on Cale occured. She helped saved him, and later they fell in love. They move to Glenport, Massachusetts, and have a son named David there. When Cale goes away to lead the rebellion, he assigns Rafe, his personal protector, to train David. Now, 15 years later, David is 17 and lives a normal life, being told by Rita his father died. Rita was rock hounding in the Utah badlands when she saw a spacecraft touch down in the middle of a restricted area. Investigating, she walked right into the battle between The Dragit, his minions, and Cale and Rafe. She rescued Cale in the nick of time, and they narrowly escaped. Over time they fell in love, but now that Cale has left for Tyrus the only thing she has left is her son, David
Cale Oosha:
Cale is the rightful ruler of the planet Tyrus. When taken to Earth to check how the trading and communications is going, he finds out that his uncle, the Dragit, is planning an invasion of Earth from an underground base. When Cale refuses, Dragit and his forces try to assasinate him. He barely escapes with the help of Rita Carter, an earth woman, and Dragit and his forces believe him dead for the time being. Cale and Rita fall in love and move to Glenport, Massachusetts, to start a new life together. There, they have a son named David. Shortly after David is born, Cale leaves on board a spaceship to lead a rebellion against Dragit's forces called the Ooshati. When Cale Oosha finally made the trip to earth to see how trade and operations were going, he was more then surprised to find that the head he had appointed, Dragit,had instead built an underground military base. When Cale refused to go along with the plan to invade, Dragit decided to go to plan B, and tried to assassinate him. Luckily, Cale and Rafe escaped with the help of Rita, and later on they met more followers of their fellow oosha.
Rafe:
Was originally Cale's bodygaurd and
friend, but Cale left him behind to protect his family. hen the assination attempt on Cale is made. He escapes with Cale and Rita to Glenport, Massachusetts, and gets a job in law enforcement. When Cale leaves to start the rebellion, Rafe is told to train his son David like he had Cale. Now, 15 years, David is 17 and lives a normal life, because Rita forbids Rafe to train him until he's old enough. Rafe has also aquired the rank of sheriff. He now poses as a sheriff and keeps an eye on David. Over Time David learns to like Rafe, and he soon becomes David's mentor.
The Dragit:
The Dragit is Cale's uncle. He feels that Tyrus is a dying planet and Earth would make a nice place to relocate, but those humans are in the way. He makes a plan to invade Earth and asks Cale if he approves, instead of setting up communications with Earth, he has built a massive millitary base, when Cale objected he tried to assasinate him. He thinks he suceeded until Sonia finds DavidHe will stop at nothing to conquer Earth, the only thing standing in his way is Cale's son,David.
General Konrad:
Is the Dragit's right hand
man. Konrad was the Dragit's chief man. He was a Tyrusian and he ran the secret underground city in Charles Air Force Base. He has a bad temper, though. When Cale visits the base he is Colonel, but is promoted to General by the time David and Rafe destroy the base. He has a grudge against Rafe, and he cost the lives of his men, and his own life in his attempt to kill him. He has infiltrated the air force and is a general, while setting up the alien's base of operations.
Mangler:
Manglers have been genetically engineered
to kill. Cale demanded that they be destroyed, but instead the Dragit relocated them to earth to protect the base.
