Sako-chan: Hey, Ayumi, Rei, we�re going to my place to study, right? Ayumi: Yes. I told ji-chan I won�t be home until the sun sets. *Inu Yasha steps up from the trees* Ayumi: You! Why do you keep on following me? Rei-chan: you know him? Inu Yasha: *grabs Ayumi�s arm* Come with me. Ayumi: Huh? What are you doing? Let go! *tries to pull Inu Yasha�s hand off of her* Inu Yasha: I want to show you something. Sako-chan: Hey! What do you think you�re doing? Inu Yasha: *ignores her and pulls Ayumi towards the trees* Ayumi: You guys can study without me. Don�t worry! I�ll be fine! *disappears into the trees along with Inu Yasha*
Ayumi: Hey! Where are you taking me?
Inu Yasha: *slashes up some bushes that are in the way* To show you your past. *arrives at a clearing that has been burnt down with a well near it* Ayumi: *gasp* *goes up to the well and touches it* Ji-chan�Mama�Souta�Inu Yasha, what happened? Inu Yasha: It seems that you haven�t forgotten everything�Well, after you died, your family was very depressed. So they didn�t even notice their kitchen catching on fire�but when they did, it was already too late. *looks at the charred building* Ayumi: *with tears in her eyes* This is all my fault� Inu Yasha: No, it's all that Yuri's fault. She was the one that brought the fireworks. Ayumi: Yuri? That was the woman I helped yesterday. She said I looked like Kagome. Inu Yasha: *beckons Ayumi to the well* Come on, lets not waste any time.
*Inu Yasha and Ayumi jumps out of the well*
Ayumi: Sengoku Jidai...
Inu Yasha: *sits under a Sakura tree* You're starting to remember some things, aren't you?
Ayumi: *nods* yea... *sits next to Inu Yasha* ROAAAAR!! *A giant centipede youkai appears from the forest* Inu Yasha: *calmly stands up* Let me take care of this weak youkai. *cracks his knuckles* *A flamethrower out of nowhere burns the youkai into crisps* Inu Yasha: Huh? *turns around* A 15-year old girl with blazing red hair and wearing a Fuedal kimono walks up from the shadows* Ayumi: *thinking: She looks so familiar...* Inu Yasha: Who are you? Girl: *picks up a Shikon Shard, completely ignoring Inu Yasha* Inu Yasha: You want a FIGHT? *rolls up his sleeves* Girl: *draws her sword and transforms it into flaming demon blade* Sure. Inu Yasha: *leaps at the girl* SANKON TETSUSOU! Girl: *dodges it effortlessly* Is that the best you can do? Inu Yasha: *notices an unused sword strapped around her waist with a peice of cloth and gasps* Tetseiga! Girl: *pats the sword* so this is yours, isn't it? *scoffs* Which demon can't take care of his own sword? Inu Yasha: *gets angry* SANKON TETSUSOU! Girl: *dodges the attack, but the cloth restraining the sword gets cut* No! Inu Yasha: *picks up the Tetseiga and transforms it* Girl: *horrified* DIE! *attacks Inu Yasha with her sword* Inu Yasha: *blocks her attack and pushed her back* Is that the best you can do? *leaps into the air and prepares to attack her* TETSEIGA! Ayumi: *gasps* She's Shizuku from class C! INU YASHA! STOP! Shizuku: *turns around* Ayumi! Inu Yasha: *slashes Shizuku with his Tetseiga* Shizuku: *cries in pain* Ahh! *blood stains her clothes*
Ayumi: Gomenasai. I didn't realize it was you at first. *looks at her red hair*
Shizuku: This is how I look in demon form. Or should I say hanyou? My father is human... Ayumi: How did you ed up here? I thought you moved. Shizuku: *sigh* I don't know... One second I was at the beach, and the other second I was here. *looks down* I didn't even know I was a hanyou before. Both my parents died, and now I like with my step-mother. Ayumi: Sorry. Shizuku: No need. Kagome, why are you here? Ayumi: To collect Shikon Shards. You see...I...uhh...broke it. Shizuku: WHAT?? Ayumi: *looks at the sky* Anyways lets go now, the sun's already setting. Grandpa will be really worried about me. Shizuku: At least you have a family that worries about you... Ayumi: Huh? I'm sure your family misses you a lot too. Shizuku: *sigh* Inu Yasha: *straps the Tetseiga around his waist* Let's go then.
Inu Yasha: We're there. *looks at Shizuku* This is your hous right?
*Shizuku's mother sweeping the yard* Shizuku: *drops her sword at the sight of her mother* Mother... *tears roll down her face* Shizuku's mother: *gasp* Shizuku! Shizuku: *runs to her mother and hugs her* I miss you so much! *both crying* *shizuku's grandparents and little sister comes out* Shizuku's grandparents: Shizuku! Her little sister: Ni-chan! I missed you! Ayumi: *looking from far away* They really miss her... Inu Yasha: *puts his arm around Ayumi's shoulder as they both leave* |
