About Inuyasha
It all starts when Inuyasha (a half demon) and Kikyo (a priestess) are tricked into hating each other all because of a demon named Naroku. Kikyo pins Inuyasha to a tree with her sacred arrow after he tries to steal the Shikon Jewel that makes demons stronger. Kikyo dies soon after, and is creamated with the Shikon Jewel.
In the present day, Kagome (a reincarnation of Kikyo) is dragged into the well near her house by a demon. When she climbs out of the well, she finds herself in feudal Japan. (50 years after Inuyasha was pinned to the tree). She runs away from the demon and finds Inuyasha pinned to a tree. She eventually releases him from the tree and he slays the demon. Then he tries to take the Shikon Jewel that came from inside of Kagome. Kaede (Kikyo's younger sister) puts a necklace around Inuyasha's neck. Kagome says "sit" and Inuyasha falls face forward to the ground. Later a crow demon shows up and steals the Shikon Jewel. The demon swallows it to become stronger. Kagome shoots and arrow at the crow. The crow dies but the Shikon Jewel breaks into thousands of pieces. Inuyasha and Kagome are forced to find all of the shards berfore other demons do.
