| The Pacifier Quotes and Scene Summaries -In the TV room, Bart is on the couch with Maggie, unwrapping a brand-new Butterfinger bar. He grimaces delightfully, when Homer shows up in front of him. Homer: Baaart, I'm gonna open my mouth and close my eyes, and you're gonna give me a big surprise! [his tone changes from innocent to threatening halfway through this line] While Homer performs his part of the deal, Bart thinks for a moment and then pulls out Maggie's pacifier, and shoves it into Homer's waiting mouth. Homer is too stupified to do anything. [announcer/live action interlude] Homer is sitting resentfully on the couch (with the pacifier still in his mouth), as Maggie leaps and gropes from his lap, trying to get her pacifier back. Bart is standing with his back to them, facing us. Bart: [takes a bite] Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger. Behind Bart, Maggie finally retrieves her pacifier, and places it back in her mouth. |
| The Dog Biscuit Quotes and Scene Summaries Homer, Lisa, Bart and Santa's Little Helper are watching TV when thunder rolls and the room turns black, save the characters' white eyes. Homer: [gasps] What happened to the lights? Lisa: It's just a power outage, Dad. [we hear a crunching sound] Homer: [gasps] What was that? Lisa: [impatient] It's just Bart eating a Butterfinger! Homer: [devious] Hmmm...and it sounds like he's right over... here! Homer (as indicated by his big, white eyes) leaps into the air at Bart, but Bart quickly runs over the back of the couch to where Homer was sitting. Bart chuckles to himself. Homer: [sad] Aw, how 'bout a bite, little buddy? Bart: Oh, okay, Homer. Just one. Santa's Little Helper's eyes struggle to stay put for a second, indicating that Bart has taken something out of the dog's mouth. Homer bites into whatever it is Bart gave him. Homer: Hey, this tastes just like a ... [yelling] dog biscuit! The lights turn back on as Homer yells the words "dog biscuit." Santa's Little Helper gives a surprised look at Homer, who holds a dog biscuit with a bite taken out of it. [announcer/live action interlude] Bart sits next to Lisa on the couch. He takes a bite out of his Butterfinger, and recites his slogan for the camera (as Lisa gives him a condescending look). Meanwhile, Santa's Little Helper is confused by what happened to his dog biscuit, and Homer is desperately wiping off his tongue with his hands. |
| The Raid Quotes and Scene Summaries Bart wakes up to find that his four limbs are tied to the bedposts, and screams. Lisa pops up from beside his bed, with a devilish look and a box of Bart's Butterfinger BB's. Lisa: You're such a brat, Bart. Bart: Mua? Lisa: Yeah, you won't share your new Butterfinger BB's. Lisa pours all of the "BB's" packets onto Bart's bed, and as the view clears up again, Bart suddenly notices that the whole town has crowded into his room, including the family, Krusty, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Mrs. Krabappel, Apu and Otto. Krusty swipes two armfulls. Krusty: So we're taking 'em! Homer tosses a single chocolate BB into his mouth. Homer: Mmm ... bite-sized! Mr. Burns sits with his mouth gaping open like a baby bird as Smithers drops a few down into his boss' throat, one by one. Smithers: Down the hatch, sir. Maggie successfully juggles six of them, but Bart yells "Maggie, no!" and Santa's Little Helper steals a few of them out of the air. In a panoramic view, all of the invaders are pigging out on Bart's stash. Krusty lets out an evil laugh, Lisa tosses herself a snack, Homer gurgles lustfully at the huge, brown, tasty pile he's pouring in front of himself, and Otto taps the contents of a bag into his palm. Otto: Groovy munchies, man! This is too much, and Bart sits up in bed screaming. The room is empty. It was all a dream. He wipes his brow worriedly. [announcer / live action interlude] Bart: Nobody'd better lay a finger on my Butterfinger BB's. Bart has a drawerful of Butterfinger BB's, but rather than sitting in a desk, the drawer is propped up sideways against his bed. he reaches into the pile, and a load of them topples out. A Krusty doll that was in the pile lands in Bart's lap, which causes him to scream. |
