[episode 23]
~the next day after episode 22 in front of the main house of the Higurashi shrine with Alex, Inuyasha and Kagome and Kagura~
Kagome- I’m going to school once I get back we can head back to the feudal era.
Alex- (yawns) Alright see you later.
Kagome- Inuyasha you stay here and don’t go out to where people can see you.
Inuyasha- Yeah, yeah.
(Kagome leaves for school)
Kagura- So what are we going to do until she gets back?
Inuyasha- You 2 do what you want I’m going to sleep till she gets back, its not like I can do anything until then. (Inuyasha walks inside)
Alex- He’s always sleeping, what a bum.
Kagura- Well what do you say we go see the sights since neither one of us has been to Tokyo before.
Alex- Cool let go. (Kagome’s mom comes out of the house and Alex and Kagura stop)
Kagome’s mom- Where is Kagome?
Alex- She left already, why?
Kagome’s mom- She forgot her science book and her homework. I hate to ask but can one of you bring them to her?
Alex- Yeah sure we were just going to see the sights so its not that big of a deal for us.
(Kagome’s mom hands Alex Kagome’s book science book which has papers sticking out from several pages)
Kagome’s mom- Thanks so much.
Alex- Don’t mention it.
(Alex and Kagura leave)
~with Alex and Kagura walking down the street~
(Alex is looking in the science book at the pages Kagome’s homework)
Alex- She didn’t finish.
Kagura- Huh?
Alex- Kagome didn’t finish her homework, this is elementary for me though. (Alex pulls the pin out of the book, flips it in his hand, and starts to write)
Kagura- What are you doing?
Alex- Well Kagome didn’t finish her stuff so I figured I would help a little bit, especially with the trouble I put her through in the feudal era.
Kagura- So is her homework important?
Alex- Yeah well kinda, you see in these modern times we have to qualify for jobs in order to make money so we can survive, doing homework is one of the small things that helps her learn how to qualify for a job.
Kagura- Kind of like how a sword smith has to know how to temper steel?
Alex- Exactly.
Kagura- Oh ok, I get it now.
Alex- There finished, that was easy. (Alex closes the book and drops it to his side)
Kagura- So where is Kagome?
Alex- At school, see that big building right there? (Alex points to a 4 story building in front of them a few blocks away)
Kagura- Yeah that’s her school?
Alex- Yep. (Alex and Kagura continue to walk toward to the school)
~With Kagome in the class room with her 3 friends~
(Kagome is digging through her bag)
Kagome- Oh no, I forgot my homework. I did all that work for nothing.
Ayumi- Did you finish it?
(Kagome stops digging through her bag)
Kagome- Not completely but I only had like 10 questions left and I was going to finish before class.
Yuka- You know you have to have that for today or you cant study for the test today.
Kagome- Yeah I know. I cant believe I forgot it.
(Alex walks into the classroom with Kagura)
(Kagome and her friends look at Alex and Kagura)
Kagome- A…Alex?
Alex- Ah Kagome there you are. Here. (Alex hands Kagome her science book)
Kagome- My homework?
Alex- Yeah you forgot it so I brought it for you. I’ll see you after school ok?
Kagome- Ok…
Alex- See ya. (Alex and Kagura leave quickly)
All 3 of Kagome’s friends- Who was that?
Kagome- Uhhh. (The teacher walks in and the class bell rings)
Kagome to herself- Thank you, saved by the bell.
~with Kagome during science class~
(The teacher is collecting the students homework and he comes to Kagome and gives it a quick reading as he did with the other students)
Kagome- I….I really didn’t have time to finish.
Teacher- What are you talking about? Its finished and the last few are brilliantly explained. Its perfect. Kagome you are the only one to get these last few right. You got a perfect score.
The other students- Congrats Kagome.
Teacher- You do your work even when you are out of school. Good job. (the teacher hands Kagome back her paper)
Teacher- Next. (the teacher moves to the next person)
Kagome to herself- H..how? Who? Could it be he did it?
~after school with Kagome walking home~
Kagome- I’m horrible at science but someone answered those questions for me but who, Alex?
(Kagome’s 3 friends come running up beside her)
Yuka- Kagome you left in a hurry, cant we talk for a bit?
Kagome- Sure I guess but not for too long.
Ayumi- Great.
~at “Wacdonalds” ((lol)) with Kagome and her 3 friends~
Kagome- So what did you guys what to talk to me about?
Kagome‘s 3rd friend ((I don’t know her name))- Ok spill it Kagome, that badass boyfriend you have is the guy who came and handed you your homework this morning isn’t he?
Kagome- NANI?! No way.
Yuka- Then who is he?
Kagome- Just a friend.
Ayumi- Oh come on Kagome we aren’t dumb you can tell us.
Kagome- I’m serious, he’s just a friend I met a while back.
Kagome‘s 3rd friend- He sure looked like a badass.
Kagome- Yeah but that’s not the same guy.
Kagome‘s 3rd friend- So does he like you? He has to, he brought you your homework.
Kagome- Will you guys get off it, he’s not my boyfriend.
All 3 friends in a sarcastic voice- Yeah suuuure he isn’t.
Kagome- Ok want me to prove it? You remember that girl he was with?
All 3 friends- Yeah.
Kagome- That’s his girlfriend.
Kagome‘s 3rd friend- That chick was his girl? So why did he bring you your stuff?
Kagome in a sarcastic voice- Uh I don’t know maybe cause he’s a nice guy.
Ayumi- It looks like you are in a bind Kagome.
Kagome- How so?
Yuka- She’s right. You’re going with Hojo, then you’re with this other badass guy so you claim, and now your with this guy?
Kagome- God dang it I’m not in a relationship with Alex!
Yuka and Kagome‘s 3rd friend- So why are you and he meeting this afternoon?
Kagome- Uh…w..well we have to go somewhere….to uh help somebody.
(Alex walks by the window with Kagura then stops when he sees Kagome with her 3 friends)
(Alex makes a devious smile and walks inside with Kagura)
Alex- You thirsty Kagura?
Kagura- Kind of why?
Alex to the person behind the desk- Yo my good man, 2 waters. (Alex puts the right amount for the 2 waters on the counter)
Yuka- Look there he is.
(Kagome and the 3 girls look at Alex and Kagura)
(the man behind the counter hands Alex and Kagura their dinks and Alex starts to walk toward Kagome)
Ayumi- He’s coming this way. What do we do?
Kagome- Nothing now I can prove to you who he really is.
(Alex whispers something to where only Kagura can hear and Kagura nods her head with a bit of a devious smile)
(Alex stops at the table where Kagome and her 3 friends are sitting)
Alex- Hey Kagome, what’s up?
Kagome- Alex tell these 3 we aren’t in a relationship.
Alex- What?
Kagome- These 3 think we are boyfriend and girlfriend.
Alex- But aren’t we?
Kagome- W..what? No we aren’t. What about Kagura? (Kagome points to Kagura)
Alex- What about her? She is my sister.
Kagome- What?! Why are you lying?!
Alex- Ask her yourself, she’ll tell you.
Ayumi- Are you really his sister?
Kagura- Yeah he’s my brother what’s wrong with that?
Kagome- No way! What are you doing she cant be your sister. Remember you looked so hard for her and everything?
Alex- Yeah, she is my long lost sister what about it?
Kagome- But… (Kagome is dragged back into a corner of the restaurant by her 3 friends)
Yuka- So which is it? Is he your boyfriend or what? He says he is, why do you act like you aren’t his girlfriend?
Kagome- Cause we aren’t.
Kagome‘s 3rd friend- Telling us those lies about that girl being his girlfriend when she is his sister.
Kagome- I’m not lying, I swear!
Ayumi- Yeah right, what a liar. I cant believe I let you borrow my notes all those times.
(Alex and Kagura begin to laugh and Kagome and her friends look at them)
(Alex walks over to Kagome and her friends)
Alex- I was just kidding, I’m not Kagome’s boyfriend, I was playing a joke.
Ayumi- Y…you were?
Alex- Of course, Kagura isn’t my sister at all, we aren’t even related.
Kagura- If anybody is boyfriend and girlfriend its me and him.
(Alex blushes a little bit when this is said)
Alex- Yeah see Kagome wasn’t lying at all. Everything she said was true, I just wanted to mess with Kagome.
Kagome in an angry voice- A…l…e…x!
Alex- Uh oh…oh crap.
Alex- I was only having a little fun. Calm down.
Kagome- Calm down? Calm down?! I am calm!
Alex- Uh I’ll leave now. (Alex steps back)
Ayumi- Wait so you aren’t her boyfriend?
Alex- No, no that’s some other guy, I’m just a normal friend of Kagome’s from America. (Kagome calms down)
Yuka- Hey what’s going on up there? (Everybody looks toward the counter)
(A man is holding a gun and is making the cashier put money in a bag)
Kagura- A thief?
Alex- (Alex gets serious look) Yeah.
Kagura- You want me to kill him?
Alex- No just knock him over the counter with a strong wind.
Kagura- Can do. (Kagura waves her fan a the man and a strong wind pushes him into the counter and he falls over it)
(Alex and Kagura walk up to the counter) (Alex is still holding his water)
(The man stands up straight and points his gun at the crowd)
Ayumi- What are they doing?
Kagome- I’m not sure but we better get behind something in case that guy decides to shoot somebody. (Kagome leads her 3 friends behind a tiled wall and they all peak out to watch)
Man- Who did that?!
Alex- Technically dude, nobody, the wind pushed you over but if you wanna blame somebody you can blame me.
Man- Cocky kid, don’t try to be a hero or you might get shot. (the man points his gun at Alex)
Alex- I have a question, what kind of idiot robs a fast food restaurant? I mean come on the most you might get is what 400,000 yen? What’s that, like 400 American dollars?
Man- I said shut up! (the man shoots at Alex but Kagura makes another strong wind and the bullet stops and falls to the ground in front of Alex) (Alex picks up the bullet and looks at it)
Alex- DE-50, Navy Seal issue I believe, nice gun there dude.
Man- What? How could you tell?
Alex- I think that’s my #1 question I’m asked. I know a lot of things, one of them happens to be whether you leave here in cuffs or not.
Man- Oh really? We’ll see about that! (the man empties his clip at Alex but every bullet is stopped by another strong wind)
Man- I don’t get it, why cant I hit him, and where are those strong winds coming from?
Alex- You just don’t get it do you?
Man- DIE! (the man pulls the trigger again but there are no bullets left in the gun)
Man- Huh? Out already?
Alex- Cut it in half for me will you Kagura?
Kagura- I’d be happy to. (Kagura sends a blade of wind at the man and he throws the gun and ducks behind the counter and the gun is cut in half)
Alex- Nice aim.
Kagura- Thank you.
Alex- So do you give up?
(a nearby police officer comes in the door)
Alex- He’s behind the counter like a chicken. (Alex points to the counter)
(The police officer looks behind the counter and the man stands up and the police officer cuffs his hands behind his back)
Alex- That settles that. And look, no damage was caused. Let’s get out of her you 2. (Alex looks back at Kagura and Kagome and they walk out with Alex)
Yuka- What just happened?
Kagome‘s 3rd friend- I didn’t see anything did you?
Ayumi- I saw everything. (Yhb and OWF cover Ayumi’s mouth)
Yuka and Kagome‘s 3rd friend- No you didn’t! Got that?
(Ayumi shakes her head yes)
~with Alex, Kagura, and Kagome coming up the steps of Kagome’s house~
Alex- I had fun today how about you two?
Kagura- Yeah it was fun.
Kagome- I’m glad you two had fun while I was at school and then almost got killed.
Alex- Ah come on you didn’t think Kagura and I couldn’t handle that guy?
Kagome in a tired voice- I live in Hell.
(Alex and Kagura give a small laugh)
(Inuyasha comes running up to Kagome)
Inuyasha- Kagome!
Kagome- SIT! (Inuyasha hit’s the ground in front of Alex and Kagura)
Alex- Ouch, that had to hurt.
(Kagome continues to walk toward her house)
(Inuyasha gets up)
Inuyasha- Ow damn it that hurt!
Kagome from the top of the hill- SIT!
(Inuyasha hit’s the ground again and gets up seconds later)
Alex- Um, maybe you shouldn’t say anything to her Inuyasha, she had a tough day.
Inuyasha- Jeez, no respect. By the way, we have to get back before Sango and Miroku get worried.
Alex- Kagura and I will go ahead, you stay here with Kagome for tonight and meet us by the well in the morning.
Inuyasha- Ok.
(Alex and Kagura head for the well and Inuyasha goes inside to see if he can calm down Kagome)
~With Kagura and Alex who are about to jump into the well~
(Alex and Kagura hear a sound that gets louder and louder)
Alex- Listen, what’s that noise?
(Kagura and Alex listen for a second and then look at each other and say the same thing)
Kagura and Alex- Idiot.
Alex- Some times I think she is more of a demon than anyone else.
Kagura- Yeah. (Kagura and Alex jump into the well)
((If you haven’t figured it out the sound was Kagome screaming sit and Inuyasha hitting the floor repeatedly))
