[episode 9 - Mitsirugi Kururgi enters]
~2 days after episode 8 at the well with Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo~

Kagome- I wonder where Alex is? He should be back by now.

Inuyasha- He said he would be back by noon today and it is past lunch time.

Shippo- Here he comes now. (Alex comes running up)

Alex- Sorry I’m late guys. I had to go somewhere today and didn’t get back until about 20 minutes ago.

Sango- What’s the bag for?

((Alex has a duffle bag on his right shoulder))

Alex- I got some gifts for the hospitality since I came here so abruptly. (Alex puts the bag on the ground)

Alex- You’re hard to buy for Inuyasha so I got you best kind of thing I could think of for you. Catch. (Alex throws Inuyasha an extremely large bag of potato chips and a medium sized bag of beef jerky)

Inuyasha- Thanks.

Alex- This is for Miroku (Alex pulls out 2 small boxes and hands them to Miroku)

Miroku- What is it I wonder.
Alex- It’s a deck of playing cards and a box of suitra paper with a couple of markers for easier suitra making.
Miroku- This will come in handy later.

Alex- For Shippo I have a box of assorted candy and a hand held game. (Alex hands Shippo his gifts)

Shippo- Cool.

Alex- Lets see for Kagome I have a box of advanced arrow heads. They improve accuracy and increase in damage you can deal with the arrow.

Kagome- Hey that’s pretty neat.
Inuyasha- It’s a good thing they improve accuracy cause God knows she needs it bad.

Kagome- Sit! (Inuyasha hit’s the ground)

Alex- (looks at Inuyasha and mumbles “Baka”) Lets see and finally for Sango I have a portable sharpening kit for her weapons.

Sango- Thank you Alex my weapons have been getting kind of dull.

(Alex hands the gifts to the girls) (Sango and Kagome hug Alex and he blushes)

(Alex looks over at Inuyasha and Miroku and the don’t look too happy about that)

Alex- Umm anyways uh what have ya’ll been doing since I left?

Inuyasha- A few small demons tried to attack the village so we had a little bit of exercise. The leader had a shikon shard but he got away.

Alex- So nothing big huh?

Inuyasha- Nope.

Alex- Well what do you say we head toward Akebi village?

Kagome- Sure any particular reason though?

Alex- We may be able to find some info in a bigger village.

Kagome- Okay lets go. (they all leave heading east to Akebi village)

~about half way to Akebi village~

???- AAAAHHHH!

Sango and Inuyasha- What was that?

Kagome- It sounded like a scream.

Alex- Come on lets find who it was! (Alex runs toward the scream)

(Inuyasha and company find the person who screamed)

Demon- Hah you look tasty boy!

Boy- Leave me alone!

(the demon charges the boy)

(Inuyasha starts to charge for the demon but is stopped by Alex)

Alex- Wait watch this.

(the boy kneels and emit’s a red light)

(the demon hit’s the red light and is killed and the boy falls on his side)

~a few minutes later~

Alex- Hey Wake up. Wake up kid.

Boy- Huh (opens his eyes and sees Alex)

Boy- Ahh! Oh wait your not a demon you’re a human.

Alex- Sort of.

Boy- You startled me and the bandana scared me.

Alex- Tch. Scared as always. So what’s your name?

Kururgi right?

Boy- Yeah that’s my last name but how did you know it?

Alex- It a long story I’ll tell you later.

Boy- My full name is Mitsirugi Kururgi.

Alex- Must be named for the famous mercenary of Japan.

Boy- Yeah.

Inuyasha- What was that red light you used?

Boy- A demon!!

Alex- Damn you’re jumpy. He’s harmless.

Boy- R-really?

Inuyasha- So what technique was that?

Alex- Shikigami a different kind from Tsubaki.

Boy- So what’s your name?

Alex- Its Alex and this is Inuyasha (Alex introduces everybody)

Boy- My friends call me MK for short.

Sango- I think that’s enough introduction lets get going before that demons friends show up.

Alex- Ok.
(everybody heads to Akebi village)

~At Akebi village’s square~

Alex- We need to find a women named Kakaju.
She is old and wears a big prayer bead necklace. She should be by the lake.

(everybody heads to the lake)

~by the lake~

Kagome- She doesn’t seem to be around.

Inuyasha- Why do we need to find her anyways?

Alex- To help with MK’s shikigami control.

He cant control it consciously just yet.

MK- Umm Hang on a sec how am I supposed to get home? I completely forgot about it.

Alex- I know exactly how to get you home if you do what I say we will have you home within a week.

MK- A week?! My parents are gonna kill me if I’m gone that long!

Alex- Chill you didn’t let me finish. Time will not have moved for your parents because when you get sent back you are sent back to the time right after you came here.

MK- Are you sure? How do you know all this?

Alex- I am from a totally different realm from everybody else here. In my realm Inuyasha and everybody is just a comic named “Inuyasha” go figure huh? Anyways I somehow fell into this realm and can pass back and forth from this realm to mine. I keep up with everything that is going to happen.

MK- Weird.

Alex- Sometimes I can have a little bit of effect on this realm by writing something on Inuyasha but I cant tell if it will come true or not. So I don’t write much anymore cause I could cause us more trouble.

Kakaju- Your story interests me I’d like to hear more but it sounds like you need a little bit of help with this young man.

Alex- Ah Kakuju can you help us?

Kakuju- Yes. Come here son.

(MK walks up to Kakaju)

Kakuju- Put your hands together. (MK puts his hands together and Kakaju puts her hands around his and they are engulfed in a red light)

Kagome- Wow that is beautiful its way different from before.

Alex- Kakaju can you teach him the curing techniques too?

Kakaju- Yes he is ready for the first one but the second may take time to learn.

Alex- That’s fine.

(Kakaju and MK are then engulfed in a light blue light)

(When the light subsides MK steps back)

MK- I get it now I understand Shikigami.

Kakaju- Good. The stronger in mental and physical strength you are the more you will learn. Try your powers out on that shimmering rock over there.

MK- Ok. I’ll try to break it in half.

(Mk puts his hand out toward the rock the rock is covered by a red star that is in a circle and the rock breaks clean in half)

Kagome, Shippo, Sango, and Inuyasha- Wow!

(Alex walks up to the rock and inspects it)

Alex- No sword could ever cut this clean of a cut. See Inuyasha all MK has to do is picture what he wants to happen to the object and it will happen)

Kakaju- Not exactly. If he attacks a person it depends on their mental strength. Since the rock had no mental strength it broke easily.

MK- Ok cool.

Kakaju- You must not abuse these powers or they will turn on you.
MK- T-turn on me?

Kakaju- If you know it is wrong to do something and you try to use them for evil it will do to you what you wanted it to do to your target.

(Kagome senses a shikon shard nearby)

Kagome- Inuyasha there is a shard nearby!

Inuyasha- What?! Where?

Kakaju- It is in the temple to the north. A huge spider found out the temple housed a shikon shard and attacked and now has it.

Alex- So MK you up for a test run with shikigami?

MK- Yeah. Lets go!

Mk to himself- What did I just say? A huge spider? I must be out of my mind!

Alex- Thanks Kakaju see ya around!

(Everybody but Kakaju heads for the temple)
