[episode 14; The decision]

Alex- Fine Naraku I’ll hand myself over, but I swear if you touch one hair on Kagura or MK’s head I’ll kill you no matter what.

(Inuyasha comes running in the courtyard)
Inuyasha- MK!!

(The rest of the Inuyasha party comes in behind Inuyasha)

Alex- Inuyasha?! But how did he get here?

Naraku- Utsugi! You let him follow you?!

(Alex starts to reach for his sword but Naraku notices)

Naraku- I wouldn’t do that if I was you. (Naraku opens his fist and Kagura’s heart is exposed)

Inuyasha- What’s all this Alex?

Alex- Don’t move Inuyasha! Naraku will kill Kagura if you attack anybody!

Inuyasha- Oh right.
Naraku- Isn’t this convenient? Everybody is here.

Naraku- (laughs maliciously) Inuyasha, your friend has agreed to hand himself over in return of the boy and the release of Kagura.

Inuyasha- What? Is that true Alex?

Alex- Yes. I’m sorry…I cant let 2 lives fade away because I want to live.

(Naraku is still holding Kagura’s heart in his hand)

Sango- But Alex you said you would never….

Alex- Stop Sango I know what you are going to say…I couldn’t predict this.

Alex to himself- I think it’s about time I use my project.

Alex to Inazuma Ryu (using telepathy)- You must load my buster shell into my 9mm Ryu.

(behind Alex’s back the dragon begins to move)

Naraku- Come Alex it is time you join me.

Alex- Yeah I got ya. (Alex begins to walk slowly across the courtyard to Naraku)

Sango- No Alex you can’t.

Alex- This isn’t my will Sango believe me, I don’t want to do this…

(Alex gets about 7 feet away from Naraku)

Naraku- I have won again Inuyasha. Another friend of yours has turned.

Inuyasha- Shut up!! If MK wasn’t on the line I’d kill you!

Kagome- Alex we can still solve this. Alex you cant give up remember what you told Sango at your house!

(Alex stops)

(Ryu finishes loading Alex’s buster shell and it clicks to where only Alex can hear it)

Naraku- It’s no use girl he has no other choice.
Alex- What I said before was a lie…

Sango- What? You lied?

Alex- Yeah I lied.
Naraku- For your first task Alex kill these pests.
Alex- ….ok…. (Alex reaches behind him without turning around)
(Alex pulls out his 9mm and turns around and Inuyasha pulls out tetsaiga)

Inuyasha- (Inuyasha pulls out Tetsaiga) Don’t do this Alex…I don’t want to fight you.

Alex- Me either Inuyasha.

Alex to himself- NOW!! (Alex puts his 9mm over his shoulder and pulls the trigger and the buster shell hits Naraku and his body explodes. Leaving only his arm that holds Kagura’s heart and his head)

Naraku- You bastard…. But how?
(Alex whirls around, pops another clip in his 9mm and shoots at Utsugi and hits him in the center of the forehead) (Utsugi falls back and lets go of MK)

((gruesome huh? Yeah sorry ‘bout that))

Alex- Get his arm Inuyasha! NOW!
(Inuyasha doesn’t hesitate he dashes at the arm and grabs it and gets back behind Alex)

Naraku- But how? He’s only a human!

Alex- Wrong biatch, I’m a ¼ demon and that thing I hit you with….I’ve been working on it for the last few weeks its called a buster shell. It’s a Grenade in a .45 caliber bullet. Sure a grenade wouldn’t hurt you from the outside but from the inside it will tear you to pieces as you can see. (Alex smirks)

(Naraku turns into a purple gas and starts to fly away)

Naraku- DJ I trust you know where I am and I still have what you want and I am watching you.

(Naraku flys out of sight to the north)

Alex- (sighs and collapses to the ground) Finally.

(Everybody comes running up to Alex)

Inuyasha- You ok?
Alex- Yeah you still got his arm?

Inuyasha- Yeah here. (Inuyasha hands Alex Naraku’s arm)

(Alex opens the hand and gets Kagura’s heart)

(Alex stands up and walks over to Kagura)

Alex- I believe this is yours.
Kagura- ………..

(Alex puts his hand that has Kagura’s heart in it over where Kagura’s heart should be and her heart sinks into her body)

Alex- There you go.
(Kagura pulses and the heart beats)

Kagura- But why would you help me?

Alex- You still haven’t figured it out?

Kagura- Figured out what?

Alex- I did this for you. I couldn’t stand to see you controlled by Naraku because…..

Kagome to herself- Go on Alex you can do it!

Kagura- I understand….

Alex- You do?

Kagura- And I don’t know how I can thank you.

Kagura- I am not ungrateful but I must leave now.

Alex- …..oh ok…

(Kagura pulls out her feather and flys away)

(DJ walks up to Alex)

DJ- I’m being watched so I’ll keep it short. I can only tell you this (DJ hands Alex a piece of paper)
DJ- I have to go. (DJ walks into the castle and disappears with Kanna who has been watching the whole time)

(Inuyasha walks up to Alex)

Inuyasha- Hah you crazy son of a gun you had me scared there for a second.

(Everybody else walks up to Alex)

MK- Wow Alex you should be in showbiz you really convinced me you were going to go with Naraku. And those shots you fired, I’ve never seen anybody shoot like that!

Alex- Are you ok MK?

MK- Yeah I’m fine why? Are you ok?

Alex- I’m a little tired from that buster shell. (Alex falls onto his back) OK maybe more tired than I thought. (Alex falls unconscious)

Kagome- Alex! Are you ok?!

MK- He cant hear you Kagome. He’s sleeping.

(MK picks Alex up over his shoulder and starts to carry him out of the castle followed by everybody else)

Miroku- MK has grown from this experience.

Shippo- Looks that way.

Sango- See I told you guys that Alex wouldn’t betray us.

Inuyasha- Oh sure Sango you started to believe him when he said he lied to you, hell you almost cried.
Sango- (shoots Inuyasha a extremely piercing look) I’m gonna make you cry if you don’t shut up!

Inuyasha- Oh crap. Wait for me MK! (Inuyasha starts to run for MK with Sango chasing him)
Sango- So you wanna pick on me huh? Lets see how you like it!
Inuyasha- Miroku, Kagome, somebody help she has lost it!
Sango- Get back here! (Sango shakes here fist at Inuyasha while she is running after him)
Kagome- I’m glad every thing is back to normal again.

Miroku- Me too, lets just hope Sango doesn’t beat Inuyasha too bad.
Kagome- Hehe yeah.
~At Kaede’s house with Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kagome, Alex, MK, and Inuyasha~

(Alex is laying on the floor and Sango and MK are watching over him)

(Alex starts to open his eyes)

Sango- Hey he’s starting to come to.

MK- You ok Alex?

Alex- Ugh. huh? (Alex sits up) Where am I?

MK- Kaede’s place.

(Alex Opens his fist and looks at the piece of paper DJ handed him)

Sango- What’s that?

Alex- A note DJ gave me before he left.
Kagome- What does it say?

Alex- It just says “Transmute spell 412” and then it says “Kaguya Hime”.
Everybody but Alex- What does that mean?

Alex- Hmmm no idea…..Wait maybe…….Yeah let me see that stack of books DJ left in the corner over there. (Kagome hands him the 3 books DJ left)

Kagome- What are these?
Alex- Alchemy books. DJ and I were tinkering around with Alchemy, the art of reconstruction and breaking down of matter using magic, before we came here. DJ was way into it and is really good at it. Only people with special abilities can use Alchemy in my world, meaning you have to be part demon part human. Lets see…..Ahh here it is Transmute spell 412.
(everybody reads what it says)

Kagome- Ack I barely understand Geometry much less understand this.

Alex- Don’t worry about it. Got it. I know what he was trying to tell me.

Everybody but Alex- What?

Alex- The secret about how to get to Kaguya Hime’s castle ahead of Naraku.

Kagome- Wait isn’t Kaguya Hime that woman from the famous Japanese fairy tale?

Alex- The one and only.

Inuyasha- But we don’t even know were she is.

Alex- You don’t I do.
(Alex tries to stand up)

Sango- Oh no you don’t sit back down. (Alex sits back down)

Alex- What’s wrong?
Sango- You need to rest.

Alex- But…

Sango- You’re staying here and that’s final. (gives Alex an angry look)

Alex- Oh jeez. Ok I’ll stay here.

MK- Besides you have to tell us what you shot Naraku with.

Alex- Huh? Oh that. It is something I’ve been working on at home using alchemy. I found a way to compress the power of a hand grenade to the size of a normal bullet. A hand grenade could blow this house apart and is about as big as my fist. But a normal bullet is the size of my thumb. The bullet explodes inside the victim causing much more damage than if he/she was hit by a normal hand grenade from the outside. But why are you worried about it anyways?
MK- Why did you collapse after using it?

Alex- Oh that. It is called equivilant exchange. If I break the rules of alchemy and I have to pay for it that’s the way the system works.
Sango- What’s the price for it?

Alex- (sigh) For what I did I should be dead.

Everybody but Alex- What?!

Alex- My question is why I am not dead. Hmmm.
(Kaede walks into the room)
Kaede- The reason you aren’t dead is because you used alchemy to save more than one life or perhaps you are the one.

Alex- Huh? Kaede? You know about alchemy?
Kaede- A man from the west was passing through this village about 5 years ago and he mentioned a prophecy of alchemy.

Alex- Oh come on don’t pull this Matrix crap on me now. What do you mean “the one”? And how do you know about alchemy?

Kaede- Isn’t it obvious? I don’t sit around this house all day. I read those books.

Alex- Right. What was the man’s name?

Kaede- He spoke to me but I never got his name.
Inuyasha- Was he looking for something?

Kaede- Yes the prophecy of alchemy. He said that the prophecy would come from a far land and be able to break the rules of alchemy, at the time I thought nothing of it.

Alex- A person who can break the rules of alchemy….that would be one hell of an enemy. Did he mention what he or she would look like?

Kaede- No he just said he would be from a far land and born of pure alchemists.

Alex- Tch. That aint me then. My parents don’t know the first thing about alchemy.

(Alex gets up)

Alex- I’m gonna go for a walk to clear my head I’ll be back after a while.

Sango- Should you be moving though?

Alex- Thanks for the concern but if I’m awake it means I’m well enough to move. I’ll be back later. (Alex walks out of the house) (it is the afternoon)
