Goal- to collect all the shards of the Shikon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls). To kill Naraku for the fault of Kikyo’s death.

Character description;

Inuyasha was sealed away by Kikyo for 50 years on a tree and was awoken by Kagome, Kikyo's reincarnation.

Inuyasha is stuck in a love triangle with Kikyo and Kagome in later episodes (check other bios). At first Inuyasha doesn't like Kagome but in time he starts to love her. He also loves Kikyo unconditionally even after she sealed him. Inuyasha and Kikyo were tricked into killing one another by Naraku. Inuyasha is chasing after Naraku and hopes to kill him.

Unfortunately Inuyasha isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but that is compensated for by his friends. Inuyasha's cloak is made of hair of a fire rat and is extremely durable although Inuyasha seems to tear it to shreds sometimes and seems to have hundreds of them. Inuyasha is nothing but a softy underneath that hard exterior. Inuyasha doesn't have a soft spot when it comes to a few people like Naraku ((duh)) Koga and Sesshomaru, Inuyasha’s brother. Inuyasha would rather kill all three of them except he might just beat Koga to a bloody pulp but not kill him; Inuyasha just wants him to stay away from Kagome.
