I intend to change the songs listed on this page fairly regularly, so you might like to check back here in a week or two to see what else is on offer.

To save these songs, make your choice below and then right click on it to Save Target As... You will be prompted to select a directory from your hard drive, and it is my recommendation that if you are going to be serious about collecting on-line music, you should make a new directory called music, with a subdirectory called "downloads". From there you can sort your freshly collected MP3s into catalogue directories, such as "1960s", "1970s", "Rock", "Rap" or whatever. Once you have selected your destination directory, click SAVE and your file will be on its way.

It is also recommended (though not essential) that you download GETRIGHT to avoid heartbreak in case of disconnection - remember, an .mp3 file is usually between 3 and 6 megs in size and with a 56k connection will take between 20 and 30 minutes to download. Although you will be able to do other things while the files are downloading, it is best not to attempt to download any more than three at any one time, as their cumulative effect will slow down your connection.
