| 1. Ensure the Safety of all those Involved Move the vehicles involved from the roadway, and give first aid to anyone who is injured. 2. Call the Police, and if Necessary an Ambulance Dial 110 to report the accident to the police. If anyone is injured, dial 119 for an ambulance. ALWAYS call the police, regardless of the severity of the accident! 3. Exchange Information While waiting for the police to arrive, be sure to exchange pertinent information with the other driver. Should there be communication difficulties, be sure to at least obtain the name and license plate number of the other driver. 4. Report the Accident to your Insurance Company Once the police have come and made their assessment of the accident, report what happened to your insurance company immediately. |
