Lochs and Monsters
Scotland
Loch Carron is an attractive highlands lake.
Another view of Loch Carron.  In comparison, the far more famous Loch Ness looked extremely dull on a day with little visibility.  We searched Loch Ness dilligently for the monster, but found nothing.  The trick turned out to be knowing exactly where the monster lurks.
And here is the Loch Ness Monster, making a special appearance just for tourists.  Looks perfect, even though this replica does not move, and is near, but not in, Loch Ness.  Picky, picky, picky.  A consolation prize.
The Loch Ness Monster is ready for its close up.  Pictures don't lie, and it was the best I could do.
