| Western tourists to Vietnam are given a demonstration by this young man as to how the Vietnamese hid from and ambushed American soldiers. The site is the Viet Cong's Cu Chi Tunnel complex near Saigon, and amounts to a display of devices/tactics used by the eventual winners. |

| This is followed by a visit to Saigon's War Remnants Museum, which includes pictures of Vietnamese children disfigured by napalm. The largest displays are captured American war material, such as the plane above. |

| The museum also has a captured American tank. One interesting fact is that what we Americans call "The Vietnam War" is referred to here as "The American War". |

| All this propaganda seemed so outdated to me. The real story was a Coke display right next to the captured tank. Vietnam and the United States are friends now, putting the past behind them. So naturally Coke is everywhere, with no concern for the irony of the scene being presented. Vietnam is just another nation where American companies are beginning to feel right at home.
