Yellowstone's Waterfalls  and the Grand Canyon
of the Yellowstone
Wyoming, USA
Yellowstone Lake flows into a pair of spectacular waterfalls, after which Yellowstone River has carved its own grand canyon.  Nothing here is thermal, but you should allow enough time in Yellowstone to avoid being rushed.  The picture above is Upper Yellowstone Falls.  Access is best at the waterfall's top.
This is Lower Yellowstone Falls, best photographed from below.  The film includes my first efforts to videotape a rainbow, which waterfalls tend to produce.
I followed Yellowstone River's flow and this Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone landscape appeared.  There were still other surprises the national park had in store for me.
