So right before they cut our service Comcast sent me this cool Philips camera. It can be a web cam, but it comes off the stand to be a regular camera. So I took it to work with me and snapped a few pictures. I think the clarity is good for a free camera. This are roughly in chronological order. :)
After I get off the train I have to back track half a block, and turn down this street. Yes those are apartements, and yes if you have to ask you probably can't afford to live there. Althought they do not have designer syringes in the gutter.
Once you turn on Brannan St. You see this ever changing billboard. This week its shilling the blue man group. w00t
Then there is the bike store that always is having a sale. Odd you can get a bike in there for $5000, and that is the sale price.
On the walk home I always almost get hit by this train. No, serious this is a great piece of art down an alley, that they let professional "taggers" practise thier skill. Boy does it look like it pays off.
The alley mentions above, I didn't want you to think I was cutting through a good part of town. :)
This is the first site I see getting home everyday. If you look to the right of the light post you see construction in the background. That is going to be our new theater this fall.
Who needs a pickup when you can say you take this monster to work everyday? Well I could still use the pick up. Anyways, this is Caltrain. Yippie!
Accross the street from the theater construction, is more construction. They are building a cement park of sorts where people will come and socialize with the upper class, interesting its place 2 blocks from a weekly hotel.....
I actually had more artistic shots like this, but this camera needs to be held perfectly still other wise it blurs the photo bad. Also the view finder does not accurately dipict what is being photographed. For instance the arrow was in the center of the picture I thought I was taking, but it turned out ok.
