NOTE: At the end of each tour, we ask our passengers to fill an evaluation form about the service offered. This allows a permanent quality control, by knowing the critics and wishes of people, so we can always deliver the best service. We are professional in the tourism industry and our first goal is the EXCELLENCE in the service.

Astronomical events we watched

We always intent to offer the community the chance to see special astronomical events:

* Leonides storms: November 98 (maximum of 60 meteorites/hour with a few spectaculart ones of magnitud -3 and crossing the sky over 180 degrees!) and November 99 (almost nothing...)

* Conjunction Venus-Jupiter in February 1999

* First "Noche de las estrellas" organized in Quebrada de Talca with the town of la Serena in January 1999 (130 tourists observed for free)

* Transit of Mercury (15 of November 1999): free observation organized on the terrace of Mall Plaza La Serena (about 100 curious people had a look). The separation of only 1.8" between Mercury and the edge of the sun was resolved without problems on the screen-projected images and in the direct filtered images through eyepiece.

Total lunar eclipse of 20/21 January 2000 during our second public night of stargazing with the town of la Serena (150 tourists)
