Bio:
Once upon a time Peter Parker was an ordinary bookish student at Midtown
high school...until one day while watching a science experiment on
radioactivity, Peter was bitten by a spider. Soon he developed arachnid-like
abilities and, upon donning a blue-and-red costume and dubbing himself "Spider-Man,"
he exploited his powers for money and fame.
One night, a fugitive ran past Peter on the street, and Peter ignored a
policeman's plea to help catch the man. Later, Peter learned that the
criminal had murdered his beloved Uncle Ben. Wracked with guilt, he
pledged to use his insectoid powers to fight crime.
Yeah...Peter Parker...that was me. I did a lot of good as Spider-man, I
was always getting hammered by my old Boss J. Jonah Jameson...but other
then that life was good. I married a super model named Mary Jane Watson,
and we were happy. Mary Jane and I found out that she was pregnant...it
wasn't long after that everything went to hell.
A shadow of my past returned. Ben Rielly...a clone of mine who I had
thought died a long time ago. There was some confusion...and a few other
clones (Talk about your maximum cloneage) but after a while we figured out
that Ben was the real Peter Parker the whole time. I had a life of my own
with Mary Jane...and to be honest Spider-man was getting old. I figured
Ben deserved to the mantle more then I did, him being the real Peter and
all...that didn't last long either.
Onslaught...I'll never forget it. Onslaught was on this "kill all heroes"
kick. Spider-man was unlucky enough to make the list. Last I heard Ben had
joined some kind of resistance...and he was killed. Onslaught didn't do
his homework I guess...he didn't know there was a second spider-man. The
world was turning ugly...and I had a wife and kid to worry about. So I
left Spider-man behind and went into hiding. My family was my major
concern...and with "Spider-man" dead I figured Onslaught would never
suspect puny Peter Parker. I was wrong...oh so wrong.
Onslaught rose and fell, and of course...Doc Doom was there to pick up the
pieces. I don't know how...but Doom somehow found out
about me, and where I had been hiding. He also knew about how my past
always comes back to haunt me. I didn't even know he was alive...but
somehow Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin, was back. The Goblin was given
the task of assasinating yours truly by Doom himself. The Green Goblin
found me all right...and my wife and daughter suffered the price. He
killed everything I held dear...and in one climactic battle...Spider-man
was reborn with a Vengence.
Goblin is still out there somewhere...but I'm not worried about him, or
anyone else. I've got nothing left to loose...There is nothing that can be
held over Peter Parker anymore...as far as I'm concerned Peter Parker died
with his family, There is only Spider-man now. Doc Doom ruined my life...Power
and Responsibility, up until now that is all my life has been...now...thanks
to the Doctor...I don't care about responsibility anymore. This spider is
out for vengence.
