Powers: Illyana's mutant power is the ability to create "stepping discs," portals that allow herself and others to teleport through space and even time and other dimensions. She could also summon extradimensional life forms (known as demons) from Limbo using her discs.

Illyana's demonic nature gives her a constant psychic shield.

Illyana is the Sorceress Supreme of a small pocket dimension known as Limbo (more than one dimension is called "Limbo"). Illyana's magic seems virtually omnipotent on this plane. On Earth, her magic is limited to detecting magical auras, entering the Astral plane, and summoning her Soulsword. Illyana's Soulsword, a physical manifestation of her magical powers, can dispel any magical spell or damage any magical creature it strikes. It does no damage to non-magical creature, machinery, or robot. If she uses her Soulsword or magic in combat, shining magical body armor appears on her.

She also posseses a minor telepathic ability, which allows her to send and receive messages, but she cannot change another human's mind.

History: Colossus came back to the X-Men after a while. He was the chosen Senator of Australia. It didn't take long for him to get in touch with his old family. There he found out the fate of his beloved Katherine and grief struck him. He found comfort in the arms of his X-Men teammate Psylocke. Soon after they married and their union bore a son, called Milkhail in honor to Colossus' brother. The kid grew up in a harsh world, for he was born about the time when Apocalypse took over the world. He took refuge in Wundagore Mountain, alongside Charles Xavier and several other mutant children in his care. Time passed by and Mikhail grew to be a young man. While there he fell in love with a woman a few years older than him. Luna Maximoff, who helped Charles Xavier raise and take care of the kids. Their attraction became love and Illyana was born. Twelve years after that tragedy struck once more. Apocalypse and his Horsemen themselves raided Wundagore Mountain, they imprisoned most mutants. Magik, in a last ditch attempt to save herself and the Professor teleported to Limbo. Charles was angry. He wanted to suffer the same fate as his students. But Magik had to protect him, the man was like a grandpa to her, even though he was not too old. When they returned they found the place barren. Soon after Storm appeared, and asked them to join her Resistance. They are charter members of it ever since.
