Jubilee/Emma Frost

Real Name: Jubilation Lee

Class: mutant

Occupation: Student , still a minor

Affiliations: former partner to Wolverine, former member of X-men, now part of Generation X

Scale of Operations: nationwide, formerly the Massachusetts Academy

Powers: Jubilee has the power to generate bursts of high-energy and multi-colored plasma accompanied by intence sound, which she calls her "fireworks." Although her power ranges from intense bursts to annoying nuisances, she seems to have the potential to explode energy on the molecular level, laying waste to her immediate area. Her agility, stealth, and fighting ability is enhanced for her age due to her streetwise upbringing and training by Wolverine.

History: Born to a well-to-do immigrant family in Beverley Hills, California, Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee lived an affluent lifestyle, attending an exclusive private school and becoming an extremely talented gymnast. Unfortunately, in unrelated events occurring in the same week, Jubilee's parents lost their investments in the stock market and lost their lives by being mistakenly targeted for assassination in place of their neighbors. Jubilee was sent to a juvenile hall, but her time there was short-lived due to her rebellious nature. Fearing deportation, Jubilee ran away with a friend to raise themselves as "mall rats," stealing for food, loitering, and being a general nuisance. Soon, however, Jubilee's mutant abilities manifested when she was trapped by security police, and although she managed to escape, her mutant nature caused tension between her fellow runaway, and Jubilee lived alone, occasionally performing "fireworks" displays for the mall customers with her mutant powers for additional income.

One day, several members of the mutant hero team X-Men were shopping in the same mall. At the same time, mall security hired the novice mutant hunters, the M Squad, to search for Jubilee. Finding the X-Men instead, the M Squad was easily defeated, and Jubilee was immediately impressed. The X-Men soon left by way of a portal provided by their associate, the mutant Gateway, leading them back to the Australian base they were using as headquarters at the time, and Jubilee decided to follow. Gateway, for reasons of his own, left the portal open just long enough for Jubilee to slip through.

Jubilee took refuge in the X-Men's base, living in hiding like she did at the mall and only watching the X-Men from a distance. She soon discovered more of the base than the X-Men ever explored. Eventually, the villainous Reavers, the original owners of the base, returned, decimating the X-Men's ranks and crucifying their leader, Wolverine. Jubilee surreptitiously saved Wolverine from dying and escaped, convincing Gateway to teleport her and Wolverine away.

Ending up in the Asian country of Madripoor, Jubilee stayed with Wolverine as a protective sidekick, joining him on many adventures, and he became like a second father to her. They both rescued the rejuvenated X-Man, Psylocke, from Japanese gangsters and the threesome joined the X-Men in fighting against the Shadow King's take-over of Muir Island and rescuing their mentor, Professor X, from the alien Skrulls. When Wolverine rejoined the X-Men shortly afterwards, Jubilee did so as well, although the two would occasionally pair up on outside missions.

After several adventures, however, Jubilee felt increasingly out-of-place with the adult X-Men, and, following a decimating attack on the X-Men by the creatures known as the Phalanx, Jubilee was among the first mutants to join Banshee and Emma Frost's new Massachusetts Academy (modeled after Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, where young mutants could receive academic schooling as well as training for their mutant powers.) The mutants became known as "Generation X," and Jubilee remained with them throughout the school's existence. She soon developed a crush on her classmate Everett, called Synch.

Similarities with the real world end here. Onslaught: Jubilee was in Gen X at the time and the whole school followed his rule without question. During the Onslaught government the school widened its horizons and many students joined. Jubilee eventually graduated from the school, but chose to remain, alongside her former classmates, as teachers to the new kids. When Emma Frost was killed she unleashed a "psychic cry" that touched every mind on Earth. What no one realized was that Emma Frost did this in order to send her mind to a new body, a body where she could live to exact vengeance on her murderer. Unfortunately for Ms Lee she chose Jubilee's body.
Now Emma Frost resides in Jubilee's mind, which means that the body is Jubes, but the mind is Frost (sort of what she did to Iceman). Jubilee's mind hasn't come to the surface yet, but it hasn't been erased, it's still in there, sharing her body with Emma, and it can resurface at any time.

Emma Frost

Class-- mutant

Affiliations-- leader of Generation X, former X-villain , former leader of the Hellions , former member of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club , sister of the White Queen and Cordelia Frost

Scale of Operations-- Massachusetts Acadmey , Massachusetts , nationwide

Occupation-- teacher , businesswoman , former would-be world conqueror

Powers-- Emma Frost's mutant power is telepathy, giving her the power to read others' minds, to project her thoughts, to mentally control or influence others and their perceptions, fire mental bolts of psionic energy, among other effects. Since entering Jubilee's mind she has lost this powers, however a psychic barrier still remains, making her mind unreadable by other psychics.

More recently, Frost has exhibited a new power-- the ability to bodily transform into a diamond-like, semi-transparent form that makes her nearly invulnerable to most forms of injury. Apparently, Frost cannot use her telepathic abilities while transformed.

History-- Emma Frost is a leading member of an old Boston mercantile family which arrived from England in the 1600s. She inherited a good deal of wealth, but most of her large fortune is the result of her successes in business. She rose rapidly through the world of business thanks to her intelligence, drive, personal charm, and her secret use of her psionic abilities. She eventually became the majority stockholder of a multibillion-dollar multinational conglomerate which has been renamed Frost International after herself. Despite her youth, she is now chairperson of the board of Frost International and its chief executive officer. Frost International is principally involved in transportation (both the building and the use of ships and aircraft) and electronics. Emma Frost had also become chairperson of the board of trustees of the Massachusetts Academy, a college preparatory school for grades seven through twelve, located in the Berkshire Mountains in Snow Valley, Massachusetts. Frost served as the Academy's headmistress and spent a great deal of her time there.

Emma Frost's beauty and talents brought her an invitation to join the Hellfire Club, an elite social organization of the world's wealthy and powerful figures. Frost became the ally of Sebastian Shaw, who was a member of the Club's Council of the Chosen, which secretly conspires to achieve world domination through economic and political means. Like Frost, Shaw was a superhuman mutant. The leaders of the Club and Council, its foremost Lord Cardinal were the White King Edward Buckman and the White Queen Paris Seville. Buckman threw the Council's support behind Project Armageddon, scientist Steven Lang's program to build Sentinel robots and have them hunt down superhuman mutants. Knowing Shaw was himself a mutant, Buckman told him that the Project was intended to capture superhuman mutants for use by the council in seeking power. However, Frost, through her psionic powers, learned that the project was actually intended to destroy all superhuman mutants. Together Shaw and Frost staged a coup that gave them control of the Council of the Chosen, which they renamed the Inner Circle. Shaw took the title of Black King and Frost became the new White Queen.

Under Shaw and Frost, the Inner Circle became dominated by superhuman mutants, a practice which continues to this day. Frost then undertook a mission to recruit young mutants and train them in the use of their powers at her school so that they might use those powers on the Inner Circle's behalf. Most of these mutant students were formed into a team called the Hellions. Frost taught the young mutant Angelica Jones, alias Firestar, apart from the Hellions, but Firestar finally rebelled against Frost and left the school.

Frost first encountered the team of mutants called the X-Men when she attempted to recruit young mutant Kitty Pryde for her school and captured a number of X-Men. Since then, Frost has crossed paths with the X-Men and their associates, the New Mutants, many times, often as their adversary.

With the establishment of a number of friendships between members of the New Mutants and the Hellions, Emma Frost became much less of an adversary toward the New Mutants. She has assisted them on at least one occasion, and one New Mutant, Magma, enrolled at the Massachusetts Academy.

Later, Frost was attacked by the time travelling mutant Fitzroy and the Sentinel robots under his command. She tried to get help from the X-Men, but Fitzroy succeeded in killing her students and leaving her in coma before he was repulsed. Frost was taken to the X-Men's mansion for recuperation, and she recovered enough to take possession of the body of the X-man Iceman in order to attempt escape from them. Frost was confronted by the X-Men, who convinced her to accept her defeat. Frost gradually came around and agreed to Professor Xavier's request to head a new group of young mutants at the Massachusetts Academy (along with X-man Banshee), a group that became known as Generation X. Frost led the team of mutants throughout their existence, alternatively clashing and forging a friendship with Banshee.

Onslaught: Emma joined Ons without questioning (as most everyone did) and became the teacher of a whole new generation of Mutants. She was ambushed by someone named Shadow and he killed her(boy when I get my hands on whomever that is...). As one last attempt to save herself she sent her mind to Jubilee's body. Now, after the funerals and all she has left the school, trying to find the bastard that killed her.
