Powers: Dream has advanced telepathic and empathic powers. Her thought/emotion-sensing/speaking
range is about the width of the United States. She can use the telepathic and
empathic powers to manipulate people's emotions, thoughts, and perceptions, to
make herself or other things seem different or unnoticable. She can also control
crowds, and to a degree use complete mind-control, but any strong-minded or
telepathic person can easily resist it. She has a small telekinetic ability as
well, but it is still developing and she doesn't use it often.
History: Dream was born in a 'Days of Future Past'-variant future, to Franklin
and Rachel Richards in the South Bronx Interment Center. Her parents died when
she was only a year old trying to stop the Last War, but Dream doesn't know the
details because they were swept up in the Sentinels' following decision to
exterminate all life on Earth. She became the leader of the resistance to this
fatal plan. Cyclops and Phoenix, her grandparents, came to the future because of
a plot by Kang, and while helping them to defeat him, she was hit by a blast
that she thought killed her, but really sent her across time and space to
another universe, the future of another timeline. She's now attempting to seek
out their resistance, because she's sensed a collective of people who seem to be
secretive and forming plans that seem contrary to the existing order. However,
she has been unable to pin down the location of the minds and unable to
communicate with them.
