Powers: Voght's body turns into mist, which she uses as a means of teleportation, or "transubstantiation," as she puts it. In fact, mist is her body's natural state. She can also use the mist to transport others, although it is not a pleasant sensation.

Voght is a former lover of Charles Xavier. They met in India where Amelia was the nurse who cared for Xavier after he was crippled by Lucifer. She left him because she thought that amassing "students" would only encourage a genetic arms race that would end up destroying everyone. After years of wandering Amelia joined Fabian Cortez's Acolytes and battled the X-Men on several ocasions. When Magneto returned from the dead she, and the rest of the Acolytes returned to his side and stayed with him after Xavier erased his memory.

After the fall of Avalon, Amelia chose to leave Xavier's side once again and wandered once again across America. Soon after she was found by Magneto, his mind completely restored, and his newfound ally, Apocalypse. Amelia has been living in the Blue Area of the moon with Magneto, Apocalypse and the rest of the chosen Acolytes, since Onslaught's rise to power.
During the Resistance's attack to Joseph, whom they believed to be the real Magneto, Amelia helped them, causing Joseph's demise. She then gathered the rest of the Acolytes and teleported them to their real master. She is Magneto's most trusted advisor, and she often journeys to Earth on Magneto's orders, keeping him informed of the current situation of the world.

However she knew that Magneto and Apocalypse were planning to attack the Earth. He did not want any further damage to occur on her beloved home planet. She was happy in the moon and did not see why they had to come back to attack. Amelia seeked the help of Psylocke and warned her of this. Elizabeth Braddock, however, did not believe her and set forth for a Cerebro hunt. Amelia continued to do Magneto's biding, hoping to contact someone else to warn. She met Wolverine, but he disappeared. He recruited a new kid during the visit, but the kid got lost in the moon and hasn't been seen since.

Recently Magneto has been teleported to the future, unknowing of this the Acolytes feel the worse. And Apocalypse has taken over the leadership of Magneto's lackeys. Amelia does not approve of this. Weeks before she was once contacted by Onslaught who offered her a chance to get rif of Apocalypse. She has agreed to help (blank), in exchange of peace for her fellow Acolytes, they are to be left alone, in the moon where they are happy.
Now that Onslaught has taken over the form of Apocalypse she follows him around, like a faithful ally.
