**Okay, I'm totally smiling right now! It was like torture not being able to continue with this story. I just had waaaaaaay too much fun writing it! This time around, I think I'll try to make it a full-blown story instead of just a short story (thanks to huge support from Missheru, Ryu-sama, and Nanika!). I'm not gunna say too much because I don't wanna spoil anything! Oh yeah! As always, R&R please!**

Chapter One: Happy Anniversary!

**This chapter is just to kind of ease readers from the old story (Sweet Dreams) into the new story, and to give brand new readers a taste of Chobits, Tomaru (my original character), and my writing style. Hope I can make this as good or even better than the first one! There will still be a lot of romantic scenes, of course, but I want to add in a little more comic relief as well. I think mostly Chii and Hideki will be taking that part! Right now the setting is in Ueda's bedroom, about a year after chapter eight of Sweet Dreams�and don't act like you're surprised that Tomaru is there as well : ) **

"Morning!"

Ueda rolled onto his side to see Tomaru's smiling face. The sun was shining bright through his cream-colored shades, laying out a striped pattern across the room. When wrapped around Tomaru, the two-toned blue sheets reminded Ueda of a beautiful, flowing gown.

He scooted closer, giving her a little kiss, "Good Morning, Sweetie."

Tomaru sighed, cuddling up against Ueda and resting her arm across his chest. She closed her eyes again and nestled her head onto his shoulder. Ueda noticed, through the shades, that it was going to be another warm and sunny day. Those kind of days always proved successful at bringing customers into Chiroru.

After one more kiss from Ueda, Tomaru stepped out of bed, "We should get ready. Chii said that she wanted to come to work a little bit earlier�I wonder why."

She simply shrugged it off, walking into the bathroom to take a shower. Ueda rolled onto his back again, resting his hands behind his head. He heard the hissing of the shower a few seconds later.

At Chiroru Bakery�

Ueda had just finished his first batch of pastries when he heard the tip-tap of Chii's tiny shoes against the tiled floor.

"Good morning, Manager! Good morning, Miss Endoso!" Chii said cheerfully.

"Hello, Chii! We came early, just like you asked," Tomaru stated, noticing that Chii was holding something behind her back.

Ueda came out from the kitchen, speaking cheerfully, "Morning! Whatcha got there?"

Chii held out a medium-sized white box with a few yellow ribbons tied around it, "It's a gift! One year ago, on this day, Manager told Hideki and Chii that he and Miss Endoso were in a relationship!"

"Oh! Chii, that's so sweet," Tomaru said as Chii handed her the gift.

Ueda watched while Tomaru unwrapped the box. When she opened it, Chii anticipated her response, "Does Miss Endoso like Chii's gift?"

Tomaru held up a piece of lacy, peach-and-white-colored lingerie, looking at Ueda and blushing. She nervously stumbled on her words, "Chii�this�this is�"

"In Hideki's magazines, a lot of the girls wear these! Chii thought that since Hideki likes them on those girls, Manager Ueda might like them on Miss Endoso!" Chii said innocently.

Ueda's eyes widened, and he rubbed his head uncomfortably. Chii's face looked sad, "Doesn't Manager like it?"

His face still flushed, he quickly said, "I�I like it, but�well�"

Tomaru went up to Chii, giving her a small hug, "It's a great gift, Chii! Hiroyasu and I like it very much!"

Chii smiled happily, "Chii is so glad! What would Chii say for this occasion?"

"Hmm, Hideki hasn't told you?" Ueda thought. "Well, I guess you could say 'Happy Anniversary'."

Chii threw up her arms in excitement, "Happy Anniversary to Manager Ueda and Miss Endoso!"

Ueda and Tomaru bowed in unison, "Thank you, Chii!"

"I'm gunna go put this by my other clothes, okay?�I wonder how you put it on," Tomaru whispered playfully to Ueda, who was turning red again.

"Chii will come with Miss Endoso!" the eager persocom fluttered after her.

Just after Tomaru and Chii stepped into the kitchen, the bells rang as the front door opened.

Ueda waved, "Morning, Hideki!"

Hideki chuckled, "Hey, Manager Ueda. Huh? Why's your face so red?"

"Oh! It's nothing�just that�"Ueda motioned for Hideki to come closer. He whispered to him, "�um�Chii was very kind in remembering that today was the day that you found out Tomaru and I were in a relationship�but, she bought Tomaru kind of a personal gift�"

Hideki whispered back, "What? What are you talking about?"

Ueda continued, "She�she kinda got Tomaru�underwear�really, really, really nice underwear�"

"Chii got her lingerie?!?!?"

Ueda nodded, still a little flushed. Hideki pat him on the shoulder, "Have fun tonight, man!"

** Okay, sorry for so many little author-add-ins, but that was chapter one! I know it was a little bit strange, but Chobits usually has a lot of um�innocent naughtiness, I guess you could say. I'm sorry it took so long to post, but I had a hard time figuring out where I could put a chapter break, and I'm also working on a couple other fanfictions too. It might be a while before chapter two is up, so just keep checking for it, k? Thanks for reading! ^_^**
