07/19/00:
     Crazy week...  I've seen lotsa bands, Party of Helicopters, Atombombpocketknife, The Album Leaf, The Mercury Program, Cap Au Gris, Taking Pictures, Dianogah and Don Caballero.  I'm sick of live reviews so I won't do 'em, but almost all of them were really good.  Pictures should be up in a week or so.  Yes, I'm aware of the irony of taking pictures of Taking Pictures.
     I also saw Andy from Cap Au Gris, who I met way back in January.  It was their last show, and I have to say its a shame because they were very good.  More gradual and constructive than ever before.  Luckily Andy gave me a tape with one of their radio performances, as well as unreleased Godspeed You Black Emperor! songs and some other stuff.  I've been listening to it quite a bit.
     Speaking of, GYBE! is going on tour in the fall.  I'm already planning my school schedule around seeing them on October 7th at the Metro...
     And I've also become pretty hooked on Napster.  I'm downloading Beck, DJ Cam, Bob Dylan and of course Radiohead performing "Lucky" with Michael Stipe.  All sorts of other stuff as well...
