A brief history of Interstate Zine (as of 07/18/00):
Interstate is a quarterly photocopied zine. Its focus is music, but no limitations are placed on the subject or the style of the content. A number of writers and photographers have contributed Interstate since August 1999, fueling a slowly-expanding collection of interviews, articles, columns, photographs, lists, reviews and features. Each issue has improved technically as well as artistically. The website was originally set up in December 1999 as a place to post general information for the print zine. Since then it has expanded along with the print zine to include photography, polls and online-only writing.
