Intertwined Standing
The partners stand facing each other and twine their arms around each other for support. The insertive partner stands on both feet; the receptive partner wraps one leg around the insertive partner's upper leg, hip, or waist to give access. This position requires a great deal of balance, as well as partners who are well-matched in height.

If the insertive partner is too much taller, he may lift the receptive partner off the ground if he has the strength. If the receptive partner is taller, she will need good quadriceps strength to stand in a bent-kneed position one-legged. One or both of you may put a hand against a wall or piece of furniture for stability. Don't try this one in the shower!
