Welcome!I have mainly created this website to share images easily. The website I had before was a big mess, so I decided to make this one very strictly. Every page follows the same layout to make it a lot easier to use. If you have any problems, click 'Page Help' in the help menu. ........Photo Search EngineI have created a new way to browse my images via search engine (yeah, I know, it's all about my images.) This took my a while to develope, and it's not quite done yet, but it's works OK for now. One problem is that when you search for something that is very vague it pauses before it show the images. This especially happens when you search for images taken during a whole year or more. In Internet Explorer, it won't show the image search status while it's processing. Besides that, I think it's kinda cool, however small it's use might be New CameraWoohoo! I got a new camera! It's a Canon Rebel XTi with the kit lens and an EF 75-300 USM III zoom lens that was on sale. I haven't taken a single photo with my other camera since my purchase on December 6th, 2007. The New LayoutI was looking at my site and realized that I was just learning Javascript when I started and it wasn't until six months ago that I started to play with CSS. I had over 100 pages and to much stuff I didn't need, so I deleted almost all of it. My plan is to make this whole site good looking and dynamic at the same time being browser-friendly. I've had trouble with this before, but that was because I didn't know how to program as well. Because everything is new, I imagine there are mistakes or things that should be different. If you find anything like a bug, typo, or if you have a question or comment, please e-mail me at: interpolerater[AT]yahoo[DOT]caBefore I started redoing my whole site I wasn't updating the "What's New?" section on the front page so it appeared that I wasn't making anything new. I was actually making plenty of things, I just kept on forgetting and then not bothering to announce the new features. Well, now I'm going to. Here they are: What's New?
- As you can see, this page has a layer-based style where the borders get darker as you get more elements. I was making something for my photographs and thought this was a pretty cool style, so I kept it. - The colours and formatting make it easier to see the separations in the text. If you are using a browser other than Explorer, there will be a button at the top of the page that you can clickon to toggle the colour display. - There is a new page for displaying my photographs, one that is fast and is not confusing. There are multiple sections of photos on the same page instead of having a ten different pages you have to load each time. |
