NATE AND SHEILA
We met in the spring of 1996 while we were both baggers at Meijer and juniors in high school. I first asked Nate to go to a movie with a friend and I and his response was "okay, if i can find gas money".. did he show up? NO! Then a week or so later I was buying something through his lane and he says "i'll take a rain check on that movie"... yeah, he's smooth. haha. So we finally ended up going to the movie and we were in line and I said "I can get it"... I meant I can pay for my own movie, does he argue? Nope, he just says okay and puts away his wallet!!!! I guess he wanted me to pay for his too? It's okay, he paid for the other things we did that night. Somehow we had just the right mix of weirdness between the two of us that made our relationship grow...

Okay, stop laughing now!
Just a short year later right after graduating from high school we bought our first house (which we still live in today).

Then in November of 1998 we were engaged. We both knew it was coming and after weeks of Nate tricking me into thinking it was the time he finally got me after a long day of work when I was sitting on the bed taking my nylons off. Of course I told him to shut up because I was busy (I thought he was joking again) but it was real. Then in the middle of the proposal he says "hold on", he had to run out to the car to get the ring!!! haha. I would expect no different and have it no other way.
High School graduation (97). We went to different schools but graduated the same day.

We were married October 9, 1999 and had a beautiful wedding. Click here to see pictures!

Now Nate is still working full-time but I became a stay-at-home mom when we had our daughter,
Morgan, on March 13, 2001. She was born on her Aunt Ena's Birthday.

Then we had our boy,
Braeden, September 24, 2004.

Nate and I have both been taking classes here and there since we graduated but I just decided to take the plunge and go at it full-time. I started Western Michigan University in January 2005. Hopefully I will graduate in Spring or Fall 2007.

It's been a great  almost 9 years and we are looking forward to the next 9 and then some!
