Huge day for us!!!! Even bigger than the last post. We are now a 5 piece band. We have just added a second guitarist. That guitarist is Ryan Walker, formerly of Epticol. He is an awesome guitar player, and a blessing to this band. Look for more great things in the coming days from us.

Well, I know what you're thinking...what happened to Internment? Well, we are back and better than ever!!! We have been secluding ourselves in our rehearsal area, writing new songs, working with Jeff on the old songs, building up our chemistry as a band and as brothers. We are getting tighter as both with each passing day. We have also had a bit of a stylistic change. We now sound less like Zao, and more like Dillinger Escape Plan. Lots more technical instrumentation and more complex tempo changes and style changes. The addition of Jeff has forced us all to grow as musicians and challenge our playing styles. It is a breath of fresh air for Internment. On to the actual news now. Check the lyrics page for a new song called Destruction of Beauty. Also, check back soon for more pictures, show dates (yes, I said SHOW DATES!!!), and more coming soon.

Ok, everyone, Jeff's info is now up on his Member page, so go check that out. Look for his influences to be injected into this band like a virus that will take over rapidly. We have practice tomorrow night where we will be working on all the old songs and probably some new ones for your listening pleasure. So keep supporting your local hardcore scene and keep on supporting Internment. If you see us out on the street, ask us for a cd, we will get you one ASAP.

Oh my god!!! You guys are awesome. We now, have 1,500 hits to the site. Thanks for supporting Internment, we owe you guys so much. Without you guys, we would not have a reason for playing. Keep looking for more stuff from us soon. We are currently working with Jeff on our old songs and working on new material for the future. Check out Jeff's profile soon. We also have new pictures on our individual member pages. Look for them under the Members page. Also, check out our message board. We look forward to hearing from all of you.

Well, we have some bad news and some good news. Billy has left the band, but the good news is we have a new drummer. His name is Jeff Wymer. He is an extremely good drummer, and we are blessed to have him in the band. His info will be up soon. Until then check out our message board. It is run by Gabe so leave us a message.

Ok, apparently people like signing our guestbook. I had to go and delete everything so that we could put more posts on there. If you want to contact us about shows, e-mail us. If you want to tell us hey, feel free to e-mail us. We will answer all e-mails. The guestbook is still open and available to post on, but from now on Ben and Gabe are not allowed to post anything. They are dumb and use different names to disguise thier stupidity. They wasted a lot of the space on there and need to be kicked in the face for it. Gabe, Ben, you're next, crackas.

I hate being the bearer of bad news, but it has to be done. Due to reasons beyond our control, Nate has had to leave the band. He is a dear friend and a brother to me and the other guys in Internment. He is an amazing drummer and a great person. Unfortunately we are losing him in the band. We will be holding auditons for a new drummer soon and if you or anyone you know is interested contact Gabe, Ben, or myself for more info. Our e-mail addresses are on the Contact page.

The cd is completely recorded. We are now in the mixing and mastering stages of the whole process. So it should be available for download and purchase soon. It will be a 5 song EP with all the songs on the lyrics page of this site. I can tell you right now that it will rock your face off and spit saltwater in your eyes. In other words, it is good. Also, check the contact page for booking info. And if you are this far already you have seen the new logo we came up with. Let us know what you think. So yeah, check back for more shows and info on the cd.

Ok, sorry for no updates in a while, but things have been hectic lately. Anyway, on to the news. We are going to be recording a cd this Friday!!!! It will basically be a cd full of songs that will rip you face off and then pour salt in the open wounds, then turn your face around and show you what you look like with no face. It should be good. Also, I made up a few pictures of the band as citizens of South Park, so check the individual members pages for those. They will both entertain and satisfy. So yeah, a lot going on in the next few days. Check back for more news.

Wow, we had a great show at New Earth on Friday. We rocked our own faces off. We had a few hang-ups along the way, but we pulled through it with a little help from the guys in Unified Front. (Thanks for letting us use your bass amp and cymbals in a pinch, we owe you guys.) We managed to blow another band out of the water (according to the other bands) and win over a few people. Thanks to everyone who came up and talked to use after the show and even before the show. Also, big thanks to the sound guy for making us sound great. So yeah, Unified Front and New Earth...expect fruit baskets soon. We love you guys.

Ok, so things went better than planned. Ben is back in the band a lot earlier than we expected. We played at GUMY and did pretty well with the new songs. We ended up not making it into the battle of the bands, but we are not giving up hope for the Spoken show at New Earth. Keep praying for us that we get the show. It would be great. E-mail Kevin at New Earth and get us the show. We also have an MP3 site up and running. Check out the MP3's page for the link to it. Also, look for a band e-mail address on the contact page. We just want to rock your faces off with the country fried hardcore.

A sad day for Internment, Ben is leaving the band for a while. We are currently looking for a new singer to temporarily fill his slot in the band. We will keep you updated as to what takes place with that. Also, we find out tomorrow if we are in the battle of the bands. They were supposed to tell us today, but we never got a call. They were supposed to call us even if we didn't make it in. Oh well, we will find out soon enough.

We find out if we made it into the battle of the bands tomorrow. Hopefully we did, because we really want this. Also, we are writing new songs left and right. I will put lyrics up as soon as Ben gives them to me. We will probably record each song as we write it, so a cd may be in the works. Also, e-mail Kevin at New Earth and tell him that you want Internment to open up for Spoken when they come to town. It is a dream of ours to play at New Earth. Help us make our dream come true. Support your local hardcore scene.

The recording of the demo went pretty well, we recorded "Internal Wounds" and rerecorded "I Am Your Creation". They both turned out really well. Thanks to Nate's dad for recording it. We are turning in the demo for the battle of the bands tomorrow and will know the results on Friday. Pray that we make it in so we can rock your faces off.
