Entry for October 18, 2007
Cayenne delivered 9 beautiful pups on 10/5/07. We are very excited about our new litter which includes tri-colored pups! The picture above shows them at 3 days old. Cay was still tired from her long delivery but has since gained back her bounce and smile. At 13 days old the pups are doing great, getting fat, crawling around and a few are even barking when they hear me enter the room. The kids have voted on a theme for naming the puppies and it is Fall/Halloween. So we have Casper (very white pup), Boo (pretty white too!), Trick, Treat, Bat (has a bat shape over the rump), Pumpkin, Jack, Acorn and Spider. I will be creating pages for our site soon featuring each pup individually and I will post more here in a day or two.
