The International Tangsoodo Alliance
Emblem and Standard:
The fist represents our physical arts.
It also represents power and justice.
The Um/Yang symbols represents exactly what it should....an understanding of dualities in nature and balance of cosmic forces.
The Um/Yang symbol is in the red, white and blue field  to represent that our organization is built on the model of a  democracy.  The color scheme also represents a balancing of Easter and Western Ideologies.
The characters for "Tang Soo Do" are found in its center to represent that Tang Soo Do is our path to this balance.
The laurel wreaths represent the natural order. We must be aware of and in compliance with the ways of nature to achieve peace and a harmony of body and mind.
The wings represent Spirit spreading out to lift us up to higher causes.
The golden inner line of the wings represents the Ki force which connects us to the universe and is found within ourselves - ergo our inner power.
The banner represents the authority and majesty of our Alliance.
