Team Profile/History - A founding GM, Chris has had some rough breaks, within days of trading for Jenkins and Kile, the former was injured for the remainder of the season, the latter was dead and while allowed to play this season, brings no value next year.  Lilly and Dreifort have also been casualties.

Lineup - A solid lineup, not spectacular, but certainly not one which should be ashamed of by any means.  Slip Jenkins in there instead of Ward and it gets kinda scary.

Bench - Not much power, some speed in Mora who is a very useful utility player.

Defense - Daryle Ward is the only true hole, everyone else is pretty average.  Once again, Jenkins is the best defender on the team, and he's out.

Rotation - A pretty good young rotation. Ortiz seemed better when we thought he was 26, not 29, but he's still a solid pitcher.  Lilly, Washburn and Beckett are all very good young pitchers.  Personally I'm not as high on Beckett as I once was due to continuing blister issues (Blisters?  Suck it up man!) and he hasn't performed as expected when healthy, but he has time.

Bullpen - No one exceptional here, Escobar isn't the closer he was, but can still get the job done.

Minors - Top prospect might be Rich Harden.  Everyone's high on Ricardo Rodriguez, but the numbers don't justify it.  Beckett isn't a real prospect anymore, he's a major leaguer.

Overall Grade
- B+  A team that has had some serious Luck problems.  Lots of injuries (and worse).Probably would be right there with the Mets if he hadn't lost so many guys.  Grade should be a B, he gets the + because he still hasn't caved in to give up on the wild card like Cincy and St Louis have and, oddly, he's gaining some ground.

Over/Under
Over - Kile - He's Dead.
Under - Garret Anderson - Not igniting Philly like he is Anaheim.

Prescription - Some aspirin, super glue for beckett's blisters and a healthy Geoff Jenkins make this team a serious threat next year.
