| Team Profile/History - A recent orphan, was seemingly cast by the wayside by the previous GM, needs some TLC. Lineup - A pretty good lineup, when it's healthy. Sweeney and Gonzalez have both had injury issues this season. The lineup gets really weak after #5 Ventura. Bench - Borchard is a heck of a young hiter off the nech, though he's a real defensive liability. Defense - Cabrera is the team's only plus starter defensively, Giambi is a real liability. Rotation - Pretty un-spectaular although Rodrgio Lopez may provide a true ace next season. Bullpen - Pretty deep (population wise), though a lot of guys who maybe aren't helping the team any. Urbina is a solid closer, you knwo what you get with him (he may make it interesting usually, but he gets it done). Steve Karsay is a damn good reliever also. Minors - Rodrigo Lopez is a near guarantee for next year, other than that, nothing spectaular. Adrian Gonzalez may be a heck of a player some day/ Overall Grade - C+ A shallow lineup, rotation and bullpen talentwise and they were abandoned by their GM... Over/Under Over - Kevin L Brown - 28 HR's?!? Under - Rodrigo Lopez - Sim designers really missed the boat here, not having this #1 anywhere in the sim. Prescription - Needs depth... everywhere. Easier to list what to keep as oposed to what to dump/ |
