Have you ever heard of the Akashic Record? Some scholars insist that the human brain has a section called "Akashic Record" that stores DNA memories which dates back to a plankton era when the first living things came to being on this planet, followed by human beings and the modern era. The universe is filled with a substance called Etel that stored all data from its creation, which is linked to the Akashic Record within the human brain. It's really a story in which a host computer that stores all data of the universe can be linked to us, a terminal of the computer. In light of scientific perspective, it sounds quite absurd. However, it seems to be acceptable from the viewpoint of a writer.

It also is rather a theosophical term referring to a universal filing system which records every occurring thought, word, and action. The records are impressed on a subtle substance called akasha (or Soniferous Ether). This akasha is thought to be the primary principle of nature from which the other four natural principles, fire, air, earth, and water, are created. These five principles also represent the five senses of the human being. Some indicate the akashic records are similar to a Cosmic or collective consciousness. The records have been referred to by different names such as the Cosmic Mind, the Universal Mind, the collective unconscious, or the collective subconscious. Others think the akashic records make clairvoyance and psychic perception possible.

It's believed by some that the events recorded upon the akasha can be ascertained or read in certain states of consciousness. Such states of consciousness can be induced by certain stages of sleep, weakness, illness, drugs, and meditation so not only mystics but ordinary people can perceive the akashic records. Some mystics claim to be able to reanimate their contents as if they were turning on a celestial television set. Certain persons in subconscious states do read the akashic records. An explanation for this phenomena is that the akashic records are the macrocosm of the individual subconscious mind. Both function similarly, they possess thoughts which are never forgotten.

The collective subconscious gathers all thoughts from each subconscious mind which can be read by other subconscious minds. The Akashic Record is an imagined spiritual realm, supposedly holding a record of all events, actions, thoughts and feelings that have ever occurred or will ever occur. Theosophists believe that the Akasha is an "astral light" containing occult records which spiritual beings can perceive by their special "astral senses" and "astral bodies". Clairvoyance, spiritual insight, prophecy and many other untestable metaphysical and religious notions are made possible by tapping into the Akasha.

This information served as the primary basis in the making of Internal Clock. The idea that everything that was, is, and ever will be is somewhat connected truly illustrates what is accentuated in these four stories. They are profoundly built on this reason alone, that there really is a function of the human brain to perform and utilize such phenomena in any era in time, asleep or awake. The making of Internal Clock is rooted in the Akashic Record and all its glorious explanations, realizing what could be possible and what may be true.
