Modern Transportation Solutions

The Lines: The Intermountain Rail System is a Class II regional railroad centered on a north/south axis running from Revelstoke, British Columbia, to Blue River, British Columbia, creating a bridge route between the Canadian Pacific and the Canadian National. The primary main line cuts across the rocky mountains from Calgary, Alberta to Horseshoe Bay, British Columbia, intersecting with the bridge route line at Lodgepole, BC. Branch lines run north and south to provide service to secondary centres, major industries, and access to the United States.

The Partners: Through it's own system and connections with Canadian Pacific, Canadian National, BC Rail, Union Pacific, and BNSF, the IRS offers service to most major centres and a large number of secondary centres throughout western Canada and the northwestern United States.

The Regions: Please select the region you wish to view from the pulldown menu of subdivisions below. (coming soon)
