Dear Friends, Students, and Subscribers:
In the last Newsletter I said that those were my last words on the war.
Well... I find it necessary again to talk about it since so many people are
against the war but seem to be getting confused, or are afraid to continue
openly voicing their beliefs.  This could be clearly seen during the Oscar
Presentations.  Many of the actors really wanted to voice their true opinions
but, with the exception of that director  -- can't remember his name  --  who
had the guts to say what he said, seemed to me to be suppressing their
emotions about the war.
I've always made it a practice to not only listen to what people say but to
how they say it and thus I more readily get at the truth.  The body language
always gives the truth away.  After almost 40 years of teaching privately I'm
able to instantly evaluate a new student as He/She walks into my studio.
The demonstrations against the war continue all over the world.  They seem to
be the largest ones yet.  I wonder why?  As evolvement takes place and
people's consciousness rises they begin to see clearly that war solves
nothing.  These numbers of people are growing more and more every year.  This
is the beginning of a new civilization, and as always, with anything new,
there is a period of confusion such as we are experiencing now.

I'd like to share with you the following comment from one of my readers:
"Gil, I just thought I'd let you know that I completely support your
stance on the war. And I think it's pretty brave, considering the pro-war
media saturation in the US.
I'm Australian.  In fact I work for the Department of Defense in Australia.
There are a lot of people over here who agree with you, even in the
Department of Defense.
The war doesn't make sense to me, either in the 'emotional' sense you
describe or in an intellectual, pragmatic sense.  I have had plenty of
debates with people on this issue, and it is my perspective that a lot of the
pro-war arguments are actually driven by emotion, and that very few advocates
of war are prepared to engage fully in a dispassionate, rational debate of
the pros and cons.  In fact, I heard a pro-war advocate (who is American) say
today that he wasn't prepared to engage in any further debates because he was
worried that if he listened to antiwar arguments, his emotions would get out
of control and he wouldn't be able to do his work effectively.  So good on
you.  And I have enjoyed your book (Developing Confidence and Personal
Magnetism) thus far, even though I've been more of a 'dilettante' than a
completely committed adherent.
Regards, (Name withheld by request).

In all this confusion our first priority is to send our soldiers our good
thoughts.  They are there because they "believe" they are doing their duty.
Like one of the POW's said, "I'm here because I was sent here.  I was told to
shoot if I was shot at.  I don't want to kill anybody."  On the other hand we
should think also of the extremely handsome Iraqi children, civilians and
soldiers who also "believe" they are doing their duty.   Sadam kills and
says, "God willing."  Bush kills and says, "...we pray for God's peace in the
affairs of men."  February 6, 2003 at National Prayer Breakfast, Washington,
DC.   Isn't this sickening?
WHERE ARE THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION?
I hope, for the sake of America's integrity, that they find weapons of mass
destruction in Iraq.  If they don't, Bush and his administration will have a
lot of explaining to do.  Yes, they found chemical protection suits but that
proves nothing for probably every country has them.  Since they are not
finding weapons of mass destruction, and in case they do not, a new purpose
for the war has emerged to keep people happy: Freeing the Iraqi people.  But
nobody asked to be freed.

The whole war is wrong from the beginning:
    1. In the first place, unless definite proof existed that Iraq had
weapons of mass destruction, any other reason would not justify attacking a
nation made up mostly of starving and backward people.

    2.  The US broke International Law by disrespecting the agreements of the
UN, the world police.  And in doing so made mockery of a supposed benevolent
organization created for the purpose of maintaining peace.  Do you think
anyone will respect the UN from now on?  And will the UN still respect the US?

    3.  Then, trigger-happy Mr. Bush tells France and Germany, (the
birthplaces of some of the great giants of art) to go fly a kite.  He's got
to have war at all costs.  We now know that any person who elects to war when
peaceful means to solve a problem still exist, be they even slim, is
psychotic and thus suppressive to life in general.

    4.  Then, impudent Bush picks up a couple of little countries that want
to be noticed, Spain and Portugal, to show his consideration and concern in
this "insurmountable problem" and get them on his side with a little help
from Prince Valiant, Sir Blair.

    5.  Then,  without conclusive proof  of, and disregarding Blix's negative
reports on the existence of weapons of mass destruction, he invades Iraq.

This is the reason why people all over the world are blindingly angry.  This
is why great artists like Norman Mailer write articles:
"... the world was reacting in horror to the Bush agenda for war. The
European edition of Time magazine had been conducting a poll on its Web site:
"Which country poses a greater danger to world peace in 2003?" With 318,000
votes cast so far, the responses were: North Korea, 7 percent; Iraq, 8
percent; the United States, 84 percent...."
Norman Mailer's books include The Armies of the Night, which won both the
Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, and The Executioner's Song, which
won the Pulitzer Prize.

Great Brazilian writer, Paul Coelho, writes with tongue in cheek in an open
letter titled, Thank You, President Bush:
"Thank you for adopting your current position and thus ensuring that, at
the plenary session, the French foreign minister, Dominique de Villepin's
anti-war speech was greeted with applause - something, as far as I know, that
has only happened once before in the history of the UN, following a speech by
Nelson Mandela."
Paulo Coelho, author of The Pilgrimage and The Alchemist, is one of the
world's most popular novelists. His work, translated into 56 languages,
crosses cultures and borders. His latest novel is The Devil and Miss Prym.

I'd like to thank Javier Alvarez who so kindly sends me articles on the war
which I use for my research.  Also I've been glued to the TV the past week
and I see through body language that most of the news men and women are
pro-war and engage in lies and confusion just as the "enemy" does.

War, in 2003, is no longer a valid means of winning.  It is in fact old
fashioned.  It takes religious fanatics to opt for war instead of
communication.  It takes all those old fuddy-duddies with big bellies that
hide behind god and program the young martyrs to go fight for them on the
excuse that tomorrow our children will have peace and freedom.  But life is
very short and we want to live now, not in the future under the ground.  It
pains me to see those young men and women with bullet holes in their heads
and  blood spurting out in streams from their torn veins;  gutted entrails;
eyes torn out by shrapnel and bullet holes in chests whose lungs fill with
blood and drown their victims.  War is hell.  It is the most devilish thing
that could happen on a planet.  Anyone who opts for it is either stupid or
sick.

Yes, I realize that sometimes a fight can't be prevented.  But from now on
NO WAR OR ANY KIND OF FIGHT WILL TAKE PLACE UNLESS IT IS AGREED UPON BY ALL
THE UNINVOLVED COUNTRIES ON THIS PLANET.  I said, ALL!

Life is such a short span of consciousness.  Have you given it any thought?
Do you realize that people want to live so much that they are willing to kill
others?  Why not live and let live?  How long will you live?  How long do you
want to live?  Why waste time fighting when you could live and let live?  You
are going to die sooner or later.  Why not enjoy the life you have now?
When I was a small child during World War II, I asked my father why people
had wars.  His answer was that it was all because of religion.  Beliefs.  It
was difficult for me to comprehend that.  But later, after much thinking and
observation I concluded that it is true.  When people worship exterior powers
and all kinds of cockeyed beliefs they lose all touch with the reality of
themselves.  They stop taking responsibility for themselves.  And when that
happens they lose love for self.  This leads to a lack of love for others.
And so death is cheap.  And so we have god eat god in Iraq.  But 3000 years
of mysticism have not stopped the wars even after quintillions of prayers.
MAN/WOMAN IS ABOUT TO DISCOVER THAT THE ONLY GOD IS THE INNER ASPECT OF
HIM/HERSELF IN TUNE WITH ALL EXISTENCE.  When one has this realization
thoroughly, He/She has entered the new civilization.

In another funny article by Paulo Coelho, he asks the reader if He/She has
looked at Bush's eyes closely.  Have you?  Did you know that the eyes are
extensions of the brain?  This is the reason some readers commented that
doing the eye exercises in some of the earlier newsletters gave them a
feeling of mental exhilaration.  I've known a few religious fanatics so I can
tell you that when they look at you their eyes seem transfixed as though they
were looking at something between you and them.  Of course, they are looking
at their belief.  They can't help it.  Their super-programmed subconscious is
a perpetual reminder of it, for if they deviate from it, they have no self to
sustain them:
"We do not claim to know all the ways of Providence.  Yet we can trust in
them, placing our confidence in the loving God behind all of life, and all of
history.  May He guide us now.  The liberty we prize is not America's gift to
the world, it is God's gift to humanity."  Bush in the State of the Union
Address, 1/28/03.

It is really amazing.  Many years ago when I used to play music in bars I
discovered that I could invariably prevent a drunken fight by paraphrasing
something from the bible.  I then realized that 85 percent of the population
is totally hypnotized by the lies of religion.  Try it.  When many people are
against you for a wrong decision, simply evoke the unseen powers in your
speech and they will say, "Oh, what a good guy... poor thing made a mistake,
forgive him for..." and so on ad nauseum.
Here's another by the new messiah:  "I welcome faith.  I welcome faith  to
help solve the nation's deepest problems."  President's remark at National
Religious Broadcasters Convention, Nashville 2/10/03.  It looks like the US
is being run by agendas based on mystical myths.

Here's an example of sticking one's nose in others' business and issuing
orders:  From Miami Herald, 3/27/03:  "President Bush... urges President
Fidel Castro to release  'all unjustly imprisoned dissidents'
IMMEDIATELY....."   How would you feel ("you" means someone that knows me
personally) if I send you a wire or an e-mail saying that I don't approve of
the way you are treating your family or your workers and you'd better stop
IMMEDIATELY?  You'd say, "mind your own business."  I say, "LIVE AND LET
LIVE.  UNLESS SOMEONE SINCERELY ASKS FOR HELP, LET PEOPLE  CORRECT THEIR OWN
MISTAKES."

Living in a sane world of ecstasy with no war requires the observance of the
same principles that bring ALL success.  Success in HEALTH, PERSONAL POWER,
WEALTH and LOVE/SEX.  In that order.  If you have no aberrations on all four
you are happy.   You don't want war.  That's it.  "KISS"  We are going to
take these 4 principles apart in future newsletters although we touched upon
them in the past.  Also, my books, THE SECRET and DEVELOPING CONFIDENCE AND
PERSONAL MAGNETISM are a great help.  Turn to Page #4 of my website below and
order them now.

For now I will simply outline roughly what I believe are the necessary steps
to prevent war and acquire  ecstasy in living.
    1.  Implement complete honesty with yourself and the realities all
around.
    2.  Observe, observe, observe.  The little angel that whispered in your
ear is not an angel, it's the inner aspect of you.
    3.  Eliminate tradition from your life for good.
    4.  Eliminate all mysticism and religion.
    5.  Legalize drugs to prevent mobsters and pushers.  If someone wants to
take drugs that's His/Her business, not yours nor the government's.
    6.  Liberate sex.  Sexual crimes take place due to aberrations about it
that were created by the "authorities" to keep you in a state of guilt.  Thus
the society is sexually starved.  Don't believe me just look around.  Observe.
    7.  Work on yourself to improve yourself for the rest of your life.
    8.  For #7 above order my audio program, THE STORY OF MY TRANSFORMATION
AND HOW YOU TOO CAN TRANSFORM, on page #4 of my website below.  The third
part of it gives you a prescription for total transformation.  Future
Newsletters will deal with these 8 steps more in detail.
