This is a quick guide to the Japanese words you usually find on anime sites and such and have no idea what they're talking about. Most of these I looked up in my Japanese Dictonary, while the rest I found on the web. This is nowhere near to being completed, but I wanted to put up what I have so far.

arigato- thank you
baka- idiot, stupid
chan- this is used after a friend's name
chibi- short, kid
hai- yes
kawaii- cute
kon'nichi wa- this is a greeting like hello or good morning
iet- no
nani- what?
ohayo=good morning
konichiwa=good afternoon
konbanwa=good evening
doitashimashte=you're welcome
watashiwa (your name) des=my name is... (for girls)
bokuwa (your name) des=my name is (for boys)
your name+san=your name if your a girl
your name+kun=your name if your a boy
