Text Box: Luke 6:27-38 (also Matthew 5:38-48; Mark 4:24) from the Gospels of Christianity

But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your coat, do not withhold even your shirt. Give to every one who begs from you; and of him who takes away your goods, do not ask them again. And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for God is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish. Be merciful, even as your God is merciful.
Comparative Confidentiality of Participants

The interFaith online discussion pertaining this InterFaith Settlement continues from whence it began approximately two years ago.  Much of the interaction between participants is facilitated through online communication, so the tangibility (office, facilities, et cetera) is more tersely evidenced.  It may also be understood that some participants have maintained a concern for how such participation may have been perceived by other, respective religious adherents of the respective participant.  It is for this reason that there has been a certain amount of confidential and a comparable absence of disclosure pertaining the number and identity of all participants.

Establishment on Land

The current concentration of this InterFaith Settlement is the establishment of a specific location to build the intentional community.  The process for identifying such a location may be compared to a synthesis of the Israelites wandering through the wilderness to find the ‘Promised Land’ and a Buddhist monk wandering the roads of Asia only accepting that which is given.  Such is merely one of the many apparent paradoxes that intrinsically exist within this InterFaith Settlement.

Communication

This InterFaith Settlement has been able to communicate the intention of this InterFaith Settlement to more than a hundred InterFaith Institutions and Specifically Faith Based Institutions (concentrating within advocacy, interaction, and/or education) throughout the World.

Communication is established with dozens of entities and offices within the United Nations system, including specific Committees of the General Assembly, the Secretariat, each Judge sitting on the International Court of Justice, and several additional organisations including, World Health Organisation, International Labour Organisation, UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation, UN Children’s Fund, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Food Programme, United Nations University, and others.  Communication is established with the respective Permanent Mission of each member nation to the United Nations, more than 25 Ministries of Foreign Affairs throughout each continent, and more than 50 benevolent and advocacy organisations throughout the World.
