It may be considered that the general notion of such an InterFaith Settlement has existed for some time.  Indeed there are examples of similar intentional communities predicated upon similar religious principles and/or similar religious and/or humanitarian cohesion including the Kibbutz Movement in Israel, www.kibbutz.org.il, Auroville in India, www.auroville.org, and the Global Ecovillage Network in Danmark and throughout Europe and the World, http://gen.ecovillage.org.  An extensive listing of intentional communities is included within the website of the Fellowship of Intentional Communities, www.ic.org.
