contemporary InterFaith Movement is conventionally considered to have begun more than one hundred years ago through the convening of the first Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago, Illinois.  Since this initial InterFaith meeting, numerous organisations and conferences have emerged to facilitate continuing dialogue and interaction between religious leaders and organisations from different religious traditions and to improve mutual tolerance, mutual understanding, mutual wellbeing, and mutual amicability amongst the respective adherents of these religious traditions.
